i really cant believe he has Q10 here tbh, surely with the nuts he would not shove 15k in to 5k pot, he would value bet it all day long i would have thought??

i think he's either got suited J5/J6 etc and just spiked a Jack with bad kicker or its a total bluff thinking that your trying to steal on river

i would never ever fold in this situation, id insta calling 100% of the time here

its all about relative hand strength, yes we have the 2nd nuts but if villains range consists of the nuts then our hand isnt very good at all is it.

when have people ever seen someone 4bet the river after all other streets have been as passive as they can be and shown down a bluff.

lynx i think there are enough 2pair hands (maybe even sets but heavily discounted)  that will raise our bet and call the 3bet.

first of all i think u should have bet the flop. however as played i think its a fold, i personally like your 3bet on the river as we are getting value from weaker hands which could call the bet. however when the guy shoves it does look like your beat so folding is fine imo

if u dont plan on calling a shove then dont 3bet the river imo i'd find it hard pushed to put him on 2p and be raising for value as the only plausible 2p that doesnt bet turn is j2 or j4 but they wont be shoving over ur 3 bet with that if he hasnt been out of line and u dont think hes a donkey i think you can fold as at best its a split but in real time its prob hard, depends on structure of tourney too

to be honest when they min raise my bet i put them on two pair, but when they shoved my reriase i had to put them on 10/q

Sporny, I don't think I can fold there, if villan has Q 10 then so be it.  Probably would have bet the flop with the up and down.

As you said you still have plenty of chips and hopefully it is the fold of the week for you.

i totally agree with what you say here but the fact the villain checks it down including the river im thinking this is a spz out, i would call this and whatever he shows me im saying WOW!
