    I think people appreciate that posting in area 51 is akin to burying your head in a pillow to hide the expletives.

    Its purpose as I see it is to allow people to rant, or make quips about the posts, in order to deal with frustrating sessions.

    Yes occasionally something will be said that maybe crosses the line, but so long as it is posted here I would hope it would always be taken a little light heartedly.

    Hope your luck changes soon sporny, and if I ever stop over valuing top pair enough to build a bankroll i'll c u on the tables.

    just get used to sky poker sporny, its a total fix, load every one with some sort of str8, flush trips, gut shot, 2 pair flopped etc or some dumb ace 7 O/s and watch the fireworks

I've had my share but you can't half get them mate. I was even at a table with you once and you got one of the most ridiculous suck outs I've ever seen against you. I even had to laugh in the chat box. Mere Novice could probably argue, very intelligently, that there's no such thing as luck. Mathematically I'd agree. But life tells me different. If variance exists your hair will grow back and Sunday's Primo's yours. lol.

    What are you doing down here with the tin foil hat brigade?

    It WILL make your blood boil, followed by the development of a rather nasty twitch and a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach! A little while later you will start to vomit uncontrollably and develop a tendency to shout "NO NO NO, WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME!" at the end of every hand that you lose.

    Leading on from this, your brain will become scrambled to such an extent that you will become convinced that the RNG has been set up to make you lose and that anybody who thinks differently has to be taken to a small darkened room and beaten to within an inch of their life with a large metal object until they agree with your theories!

    You will buy an unlicensed gun from the shady guy down the pub and hunt down all of the Sky Poker tech team one by one until they have all been eradicated!

    Of course, this will not change your now engrained conspiracy theories and you will become so paranoid that you will not be able play another hand on Sky Poker without thinking that all your opponents can see your hole cards and they know exactly what will come on the flop, turn and river!

    Shortly after this, you will spontaneously combust due to all the little men running around inside your head, lighting fires and dancing around shouting "We love Davina!"

    Of course, this is a worse case scenario but don't say I didn't warn you! ;)

    I had nightmares about this Board last night. My worry is that I will speak my mind about all this nonsense & twaddle - & then I'd get the tin-tack.

    maybe the rng has been giving out too many wins for the players that are ahead preflop, and it is now rebalancing the percentage to its correct ratios, a bit like when you win a jackpot at a fruit machine, its programmed to get that money back, the rng is no different, its been programmed to let AA win 4/5 so maybe it needs to collect on some of the 1/5 turnovers to 'balance the books' for the gaming commission when they audit the hands - its not cheating towards any particular player its just someones gonna be unlucky, may i suggest this is the time for fishing? :)

    Is this not just a cop out? Not everyone can have the same opinions however ludicrous they may seem to you, i have a real problem with religion, ie i dont believe a word of it and think its the biggest con ever but that doesnt mean i would run away from religious believers, i have no problem debating in a rational manner, unlike you where you feel that if everyone in area 51 is not in the non - conspiracy team you would say something that would get you the tin -tack!

    They're not suddenly hitting the river all the time. There are five community cards and sometimes they will get there, but it doesn't matter if it comes on the river or the turn. I never understand why some players get extra emotional about being beaten 'on the river'. It makes no difference.

    I watch loads of 'live' TV poker (including the 2010 WSOP stuff on Sky HD at the moment) and the things you see there are no different to anything you see people moaning about on here, except for how the players react - they understand it's the way it is in poker, and accept it graciously and move on.
