    Donald don't be daft!

I think all this i'm leaving is spreading like some disease!

Is it really sky or gambling that's an issue here?? That's what you need to ask yourself.

In Response to Re: I wish you all the best : its overdue by about a month, they phoned me 6 times today asking for money, with the same reply lol. Its there when i get paid lol, but not until then lol. Thats about 2 weeks away lol. Also thanks Beaneh for your comments, dunno why i lose confidence after a bad beat. Inparticular after a string. Im not tilting the way i used to. But, i think someone said this, and its how i get at times, "Whats the point I'm going to get outdrawn anyways" Does that make sense?

Yes of course, but similarly why play a game with a chance of losing if you cant take the loss? bankroll management makes losses acceptable and much easier to deal with.

In Response to I wish you all the best : The correlation between experiencing bad beats and playing poker is direct........ Sky, St***, F*P, etc etc all run 'poker'. It's the same game in a casino or on tut internet, beats happen in all formats, you just get dealt more hands in some formats than others.  If you need to know if you suck try and work out why you are doing things and why it could be wrong. Unless you are constantly striving to improve your game wont keep getting better and in this game where there is just so much to learn you need to always be improving. Considering you made vids and posted alot you should deffo have the motivation/skills to improve your game. Good ruck in whatever you decide to do.

Listen to beaneh, Don. He's 100% right. You are kidding yourself if you think it's anything to do with Sky Poker, or any other site.

The mirror is the best place to look - & not the Daily mirror!

    Don

First off I hope you reconsider.

Secondly, in relation to online v B&M play, are you concentrating on the online game?  I agree 100% with Beaneh, Tikay et all above but one factor might be you are just not as focused online compared to live.  Do you have the TV on while playing online, surf the web, check emails etc?  Might be a focus thing but just a thought.

I was aday away from doing the same thing and played last £5 in my account.

i was gonna take a brk for at least a cpl of weeks and try and spend time instead reading up on the game in forums and mags. however with my last £5 I cashed for about £17 and instead of withdrawing it just cut right down to a cpl of games aday.

that was afew days ago and although i,ve not played much i,ve managed to get it back to £74

i still think i need to improve my game but in the meantime will just be playing low stakes and not as much until I,m more confident with my game.

i,d suggest you do the same - i know u got a bit of a rubdown of frazer theother night for a play he considered not to good , but your game is better than most and hope to see you back on the tables soon

GL in the live games in the meantime

Ummm what was this and when was it? i cant remember it.

Also tommy i think your right, i dont really do much while playing but simple convos dont help. As i stated my live game is completely different to my online game, i wouldnt say its better, just not as aggressive. Maybe i need to have a look and see whats different.

Tikay i understand what your saying i didnt mean to say it as it was Skys fault. Admitedly ive not been playing my par latley and despite numerous bad beats ive made simple errors too.

Also hand from live game tonight.

I hold 45hh in CO. Its goes 5 way to flop and flop comes JhAh7h.

All goes in on the flop, i have the 4th best hand. lol.

Not a bad beat i was never a head just seriously sick cooler 4 flopped flushes.

i was second to shove, and i was already commited. Plus considering the players i was against i was well above range,

Therefore making it a profitable play, they would happily stack, 1 pair no heart type hands on that board.

Am i getting mioxed up - wasnt it K9 diamonds calling a raise early - didnt u go on distastermind and explained ur reasoning behind it

I had a cpl more  hands hold up for a change in last session - it suprising how it can start to turn in a cpl of days after all the bad bts and plays recently

I,d also try and set yourself some sort of challenge when you get back - something to aim  for

After scraping my last £5 into £98 grinding away , mine is to never make a deposit again

although like you I,ve had some downswings recently the best thing thats wotked for me is BR management, even when losing - i,m starting to realise how important this really is

    Don
From  re-reading the thread, it does seem that you are on a bad run and have lost enjoyment and confidence with online poker.
I've seen you play, read your advice (especially that given to me), and as people have said you have a good game which you are always trying to improve.
Take a complete break from online poker m8. I don't know if there is a box you can click to exclude for a few weeks from the poker only, not the forum. That might be an idea so you are not tempted to come back and, IF you get beat, you go back to square one.

Get the other things sorted first, like the phone bill. Maybe things like this are weighing on your mind and affecting your play even if you are not aware of it. Are you trying too hard?
