MTT update thread...

Okay, so iv been seeing a few cash threads around recently so iv decided to set up an MTT thread, giving my results from each tourney i play and my total profit/loss. I am not starting with a specific bankroll as im well rolled that i can afford to not cash in a large string of tournies though so form of br management would be useful.

This thread will one, help my game and two, i think its important to assess how much money can be made off MTT's.
My game isnt good enough to dabble into cash too much just yet so il be mainly play these tournies, hopefully every day.

Il try and post up some interesting hands (though im not sure how to yet) and also post my exit hands to see where iv got wrong, so it will help my game and other mtt players too.

Any advice on badly played hands will be very very welcome :)

    Good luck with this wacko...I will be following it with interest. You are lethal when you have a good stack.I heard a rumour from Tikay that there were a few pots you didnt raise last week!

    Seriously I would like to know the percentage of pots you raise preflop.

    What kind of tourney was it?That affects play,bounty hunter any pair seem to call.Shove pre seems a bit strong but would not say it would be wrong.The way you played it screams over pair so calling with 3rd pair with no draws bar back door flush or to hit trips or 2 pair is poor by other player.Best i could say add it to his notes and hope he keeps calling lite.

    yeah it was a 2.40 bh sat :) never mind, played a 3.30 £60 gtd and did not cash so so far...

     Exit hand from the 11 pound £500 bounty hunter. Previous hand i had aces and managed to get off the flop where someone who had trip Q's, so was short and this was probably the best i was going to get.

    i dont usually have targets for mtt but set myself a target of 12 ME final tables this year inc. SPT events should i get there. currently on 2 (primo, open)

    Thanks penguin :) yeah i calmed down a little bit and only raised 17 out of 20 hands rather than 19 ;)

    Okay so play 3 more tournies today :) played the open had some pretty nasty luck and didnt cash. Played a £1000 gtd at 9 and didnt cash, had my jj bust by a7, all in pre. Then played velocity and cashed for £25, so overall profit is now.....

    Okay so have now got the time to keep updating this thread. Sunday was not the best day for me, qualified through a sat (second attempt) into the primo but went out pretty early, through my own bad play, but i think the was an element of bad luck involved there too! I then played another £22 BH and had another good result, coming third for £101 :)

    Monday was a bad day, it was a day where i really shouldnt of been playing due to various reasons but went for it anyway, i ended up playing 6 tournaments (7.15 deepie, 7.30 omahartigan BH, 7.45 cheapstack, 8pm main, 8.30 TOTTY and the 9pm TSP classic. I only cashed in 2 of these and made a £13 pound loss out of the day, which wasnt so bad considering. 

    Il post some hands up and see what you guys think :) My profit has in fact increased since my last session.


    Profit.... £203.83    Im interested to see how my results will differ when i dont have university and a girlfriend that obviously limit my time to play.

    Okay so this is where my primo basically went down the drain. I knew the sharks range was very very wide so saw this as a chance of doubling back up, but maybe it was the wrong move, i still feel asif it was a bit unlucky but who knows.

    Thoughts on this please? I think my limp pre was poor, i think my call of the re raise pre was poor. However, i had raised with KJ a few hands before and got a re shove which i couldnt call, so didnt want to risk the same thing happening again, hence the limp. The bet on the flop puzzled me, 1200 was the minimum into the pot, i though it represented stength but  didnt put him on aces, maybe 10s or 9s. Then with the Q coming i bet it strong, if only i had used my brain...

    And in case someone gets whooshed.....

    I've never met Wacko, probz never will, but I love the way he works at his game, he's amongst the most improved young players on Sky Poker (& there are a few of them) & he plays the game in exactly the right spirit. Top, top, bloke, imo.

    I hope he wins the world.

    I shall be attending an spt in the very near future, so i fear that it is very possible that our paths may cross! :) And thank you for your kind words, still a lot of work to do yet though! As you can see by my posted hands! 

    Btw i do have a rather good sense of humour, so pretty much any joke about me will get a laugh out of me so dont hold back :)
