PRIMO WITH HARTIGAN & HARRIS (***OFFICIAL LIVE SHOW THREAD***)
Hello again!
Well, I think it's fair to say a brilliant day was enjoyed by all at SPT Luton. I'll provide a detailed, illustrated blog about the event in due course, but in the meantime let's focus on this evening's live show.
Sunday = Primo. It's a £55 No Limit Hold'em freezeout with a £15,000 guarantee. The tournament starts at 8pm. Selected hands will be screened on channel 865 from 9pm with analysis from my studio counterpart, Trevor Harris. If you'd like your hand shown on TV, please e-mail the ID number to skyopen@bkyb.com, or post it in this forum thread - with as much background info as possible.
We'd also like your take on tonight's Hot Topics...
It was interesting to hear yesterday how many Sky Poker players feel they need to adjust their game when playing live. It was also fascinating to watch a few MTT regulars with nittish reputations making bold, aggressive moves they'd never dream of making on-line! So, do you find there are distinct differences between your live game and your on-line game? What adjustments do you make? Do you actually think it's wrong to change the way you play, just because the poker table is real, rather than virtual?
And, inspired by the mediocre band and dodgy DJ at the G Casino in Luton, which song tilts you beyond belief? Is there a record you've heard so many times, you can't bear it any longer? A karaoke "classic" that makes you scream? (At 9pm, I'll explain why a certain Boney M track gives me the shivers!)

Anything Plan B related tilts me now, didnt mind him until the radios got hold of it grrrrrrrr
Should i take her to a poker night at 1 of my locals,of which ive already made arrangements to play in,or should i give her some money and tell her to stay at home and play on line.Mind you i think the latter might upset her,now if i take her to play live,i know a couple of women, that will be there that i used to date before we met.
Now i know you might say just take her out for a drink somewhere else, but to be honest, this would only copound matters as,she would reliase that my mind will be elsewhere.
In live poker, i play alot looser. Im more confident on picking up tells, therefore i rekon i can bluff more.
I cant wait for the day when we have live electronic tables that tell you everyones stacks and how much it is to call etc lol.
Sorry for my redic slow and awful play in the sngs yesterday James!
its worth a ask i guess, gl
poker clinic is good in with the main imo, i will try look out for the new schedule but still we all would love it to still be in with primo etc :P
have a good one tonight
So, you can't please all the people all the time

Gonna give the Primo a shot tonight in between Dancing on Ice & Sevilla v The mighty Barca so any incentives for reaching the first break will be greatly received..........:o)

A very warm welcome to Sky Poker, and the forum.
hope the show goes well and can we see the VLV game too.
as for songs that tilt me, anything on the radio 1 playlist, give me AC/DC Megadeath Dope etc
And another topic for discussion on the show. I had the afternoon free and watched the England v France rugby match.
Can anyone out there actually defend it as sport against football - really dull, countless basic handling errors and forwards who don't engage brain and give away ridiculous unnecessary penalties.
One piece of genuine skill in the whole match - and that was by the guy who scored Scotland's try!
Thank heaven for the beautiful game.
