You can mention someone in your own tweet by using their username in your message. So you would say @username (always use the @then type their name they use on twitter) looks like Ian Rush. Then they will see that on their twitter.

Or you can reply to one of his tweets.

If he's also following you then you can message him directly by typing d username (put his username here) and then your message.

It's just Facebook status updates in a way DOHHHHHH. I like it because it's simple and it works 99% of the time unlike Facebook.

It's interesting reading tweets from people you're interested in, seeing some poker players thoughts whilst they're involved in tournaments can be good.

I have switched back to "old twitter" - it looks so much easier to use.

Will give it a trial run today and post some updates and stuff from my poker session, and abuse some plonkers.
