good luck to all that entered
All entries prior to midnight last night were valid, I would assume.
Loony, I'm spinning 16 plates right now, I'll reply to your PM shortly, as soon as I'm out of the Main Event.
Loony - have replied to your PM, given the urgency. (Am still in the Main Event, but "sat-out" to reply).
And now the Post to which I have twice replied has disappeared........
I'll announce it as soon as I am out of the Main Event. Please bear with me, thank you.
Ok, let's get this sorted.
Please read this carefully, it's quite complicated.
Adam judged the "Design-A-Comp-Comp" as planned.
He wrote to me late this afternoon, & said......
"the winner is................................to be revealed after the break".................................
.....
".....Some really fantastic ideas, it’s been a real success so please thank everyone for their contributions over the last week
For the actual winning tournaments – I am currently in the process of deciding how/when they could run (some changes will likely be made to structures/names etc), we’ll communicate these to the community with an update in the coming days/weeks. Both winners and runners up will receive free entries into their tournament if it goes into production......"
He also added this.......
".....On a final point, there’s been some good debate re: regular tournament structures , specifically adding new blind levels in, this is being reviewed and considered carefully – again any change which comes from this will be communicated clearly, I’d expect any changes to happen by the end of the week here......"
There were three "winners" prizes, & three "runners-up" Prizes, which were as follows......
The first winner, who gets a PRIMO Seat this Sunday, is....
1) John Connor, for his suggestion of GUKPT or UKIPT Sats. In fact, the GUKPT Sats will be the choice, following many months of negotiations.
Well done John.
John's thread is HERE
The second of the three PRIMO seat winners is MAXALLY, for his "Little Brother" Thread, which was excellent.
MAXALLY's thread is HERE
Great stuff Alan, well done.
PRIMO Seat this Sunday is all yours.
The third of the three PRIMO Seat Winners is new TSP member "scotty77", for his thread suggesting a new, weekly, updated version of the old 5-0, which is HERE
I believe this idea, or something based upon it, will start as soon as next week, priced at £110. Happy days.
Scotty's thread is HERE
Well done Ryan.
Now to the three runners-up, each of whom wins a £33 Bounty Hunter Seat.
The first of those goes to "Shaun09", for his quirkily original "Got your Poker Rush?", the thread for which is HERE
It's a really novel one this, & should be huge fun.
Wll done Shaun.
The next Bounty Hunter Seat goes to a really novel idea by "loonytoons", who came up with the snappily-titled "Beat The Clock".
Loonytooons thread is HERE
The last 10 minutes of these will be absolute carnage, but hopefully, enormous fun. Well done Loony.
Loony cannot play on Thursdays, so askd that his Thursday Bounty Hunter Seat be offered to somone else, or as a Prize in a further competition. However, I've rejcted that notion for now, & asked him to choose a night convenient to him, & we'll sort something to suit.
The final "runner-up" spot, & £33 Bounty Hunter Seat, goes to "TRIP5", aka Irene, for her idea to hold Omaha Hi-Lo Freerolls. (Which may be adaptd to Omaha High, too). She gets short-changed a bit, though, as Free Entry to Freerolls is not worth very much.......I'll ask Adam to consider something for Irene by way of compensation for that.
Irene's Thread is HERE
A great piece of thinking by the Bradford-City supporting Grandmother.
Bit of a rub here for poor shanny, but Adam noted this......
".....P.S. A special note to Bigshann for his ‘Pound Power’ – I liked that idea and it may be introduced in some format, although I’m afraid it was past the deadline for the comp....."
Finally - ALMOST finally - I will reply at length to the series of suggestions in Beaneh's Thread, & I think Adam has allluded to that in his note, which I have mentioned earlier.
More on that soon. It should not be assumed that his Thread has not been carfully considered, or that he will not be suitably rewarded. More on that shortly.
