We have a new baby - the "Sky Roller" is born!
Following on from the "Design-A-Comp-Comp", & Adam's promise that some of the suggestion may be adopted & would start to appear this week, the "Sky Roller" is now in the Lobby.
It will start next Thursday, & every Thursday thereafter, EXCEPT the last Thursday of the month, when the £220 Sky Sports DS will still run.
Scotty77 gets FREE ENTRY to the inaugural running, as it was his suggestion.
It's £5,000 Guaranteed, & starts at 8pm.

The structure is different to the original £220, too, it's been tweaked & fettled in line with the suggstions received.
It will run with this structure for 4 weeks minimum, & if it is found to need further faffing & fettling, then it'll be modified accordingly.
Here's the structure.....note that the 10-20 Level has been removed, & it includes a 250-500, 500-1,000, & a 1,000-2,000, 1,250-2,500, to, hopefully, provide a better balanced & more playable structure.
Satellites? Yup.

Televised? Nope, not as such, it's been designed to run as long as it takes, & not to suit the TV Show.
But 865, on Thursdays, will do running updates, maybe a few hands from it, & some name-checks.

How many runners expected?
Well,the Guarantee needs 50, but I'm hopeful of well north of that, though it'll take some time to build numbers I imagine.
Mr Big Cheese told me I'll get the tin-tack if it does not get 60 in Week 1. I'll tidy my desk on Thursday night, just in case, but I'm pretty confident we can hit that number.
In fact, I'm aiming high on this - I'd like to see it smash the Guarantee, consistently, then move to twice a week, maybe Thursday & Sunday (Sunday seems perfect to me), then thrice weekly, maybe eventually nightly.
Aim high & fail, that's my motto.
Today's Sky Rollers (good name, eh, wonder who came up with that?) Satellites have their first runners already.
The 18.45 Satellite, priced at £4.80 - HERE - has sara36dd08 entered already, & tonight's Sky Roller Semi, priced at £24, & HERE has Hursty as the debut entry.
So, just new TSP-er scotty77 in the event proper so far - he runs so good - but by tonight, we may have a few more, fingers crossed.
Remember, we need 60, or I'll be drawing my pension next weekend.
I hope Ryan was made to put the tenner towards this!!!
