    what a great day, congratulations to adam. this was my first live tournament, and i managed 12th place, so extremely happy. thanks to all the staff, dealers, and all the players, that made this unforgetable. thank you

    Great SPT as usual

    Highlights

    Adam Bromley     - very deserved and lovely guy, won't be a more popular SPT winner!
    Lisa-Marie - Blue dress surely rivals the red dress, great shoes too
    TeamKnightPlop - LML tribute, lovely flowers to our princess and good effort getting the SNG's started
    Rich Prew - SPT Tighty is a LEGEND, an overused word these days but the man was barely standing by the end, works like a trojan and pulled off a 1 outer on Saturday morning with the casino management!
    Rich Orford - Amazing win in the Sat night tournament (technically a 50 runner MTT) his first live win!
    ElBlandie - Thanks for the book bud, does that constitute 5% of any career winnings?
    JockBMW - The terror in Pete's eyes as he waits for the camera to arrive all in AA v KK v QQ, thank god for no bink!
    HappyNige4 - Welcome to TKP Nige, great game and an amazing live misclick!
    Grosvenor Leeds - I have been a big critic in the past but you upped your game this weekend, keep that up and Grosvenor Leeds can be a force in poker if they want to be!

    Just want to say thank you to all those who sent words of encouragements and congratulations to Adam Bromley ... a very happy chap is on his way back from Leeds grinning from ear to ear and showing his trophy to everyone from the taxi driver to the security guard!

    Well I'm home now and still absolutely buzzing from the win.  An amazing day and definitely one of the best SPT's I have been to so far.  A big thank you to everyone's kind messages and special mentions for Daveyzz, OnlyOneCT and SolarCarro (can't believe you let me sign your book hahahaha :-)).

    Julian Thew is a legend and it was an absolute pleasure to play on the same table as him...still feel bad for binking the 7...sorry Julian.

    A brilliant day spent with brilliant people...thank you to you all at SkyPoker...see you all again soon!!

    OMG what was that?  When i got served he gave me a double portion.... it's hardly like i need it lol.  The chef was Italian and he was beaming about his homemade lasagne...... 'you musta come anda tella me whata you thinka!' he said.  I was expecting great things indeed given the chefs confidence.  My excitement was very short lived though as upon tasting this creation it soon became clear that the chefs confidence was as misplaced as a strawberry daquiri on a lads night out!  It was a conjealed mass of cheese, some cheese, a layer of cheese,  then sprinkled with cheese.  There was very little tomato sauce and lots of cheesy white sauce which when eaten with the rest of the cheese became a solid but squidgy cheesy putty.  There was some kind of animal in there too i think.  We couldn't work out what it was exactly but it did have the consistency of pedigree chum.  Needless to say i didn't rush back to the chef to congratulate him.  I did however spend 1am onwards bent double with tummy ache and most of today nursing the rodneys............  Anyone else got a dicky tummy?  Of course i'm not saying it was the lasagne...... it could just as easily been the packet of walkers crisps i had or the cups of tea :)

    Anyways..... it's not all bad.  I really do need to lose a stone or 2 :)

    Other than that it was another great day out.  WD Sky and Leeds :)

    Ahhhhhhhh sorry BigFlop!!! To be honest I'd have replied last night to apologise but by the time I donked off in the 8pmer my phone was dead, I did receive a text though saying that some big flopper was lambasting me on the forums :o( If it's any consolation please know that I knew I'd be an unmitigated disaster on the mike and had avoided TK like the plague for the previous 4 hours when I got wind he was gonna get me on the live stream!!! Alas, I sold my soul to the devil for the price of a breakfast and a bit of peace and quiet, and well..you heard the result!!! I tried to give the mike back to Tighty three times before he actually accepted it!! I did try telling everyone that I sound like a 12 yr old on speed but no-one was paying any heed....

    Please apologise to whichever 'friend' of yours I tilted, it really was not my intention...If i'd have known who it was earlier I'd have apologised in person and offered to buy them a pint..it really was just a bit of banter and fun and I'm sorry if I spoiled it for you :o(( I'm swerving Cardiff but please tell whoever it was to come and find me at DTD for the afore mentioned pint...

    All in all an excellent weekend, it was fantastic to catch up with friends old and new..and a HUGE congratulations and welcome to TKPers newst recruit HAPPYNIGE!!!!
