    Another fantastic SPT weekend!!!!  Grosvenor did themselves proud to be fair this weekend, they accomodated everything that was asked of them and I did express my gratitude to Tim the poker room manager when chatting to him.  They accomodated sit n go's as soon as they were able to and there was a list that meant they could open 3 tables as soon as they were broken from the tournament. 

    I echo what Trippy said with a big thanks to ALL at Sky for their hard work on the day.  LML, Tikay, Tighty, Blandie, Orford, Rich Milner and everyone else behind the scenes did a fantastic job as usual.

    Congratulations to all that made final table especially JockBMW - lovely man, Happy Nige our newest TKP recruit!!!! Julian Thew - top bloke so friendly and a total asset to sky poker!!!  And of course Adam Bromley (Bromley04) who could not stop smiling when he won and a totally lovely lad.

    I love SPT's to meet up with the TKP mad bunch and everyone else and meeting new people and putting faces to user names and am already looking forward to Cardiff!!! 

    Had a good night Friday night coming 4th in the £15 tourney and was good having 3 TKP'ers on the final table and 3 of the Rochdale clan along with Steve (kiwi ni4u) playing his 1st ever live game!! Well played Jamie-Lou for taking the tourney down and beating Mike1975 heads up - girl power!!  Dave was unlucky walking his set of 2's into Dan Brown's set of 10's in the £50 tourney.  Saturday was a different story when I managed to donk my chips off towards the end of level 2 when I walked my 10's into Kings making me the 1st TKP'er to leave the field of play but I duly joined the railing team at the bar!!!

    Well I'm home now and still absolutely buzzing from the win.  An amazing day and definitely one of the best SPT's I have been to so far.  A big thank you to everyone's kind messages and special mentions for Daveyzz, OnlyOneCT and SolarCarro (can't believe you let me sign your book hahahaha :-)). Julian Thew is a legend and it was an absolute pleasure to play on the same table as him...still feel bad for binking the 7...sorry Julian. A brilliant day spent with brilliant people...thank you to you all at SkyPoker...see you all again soon!!

To be honest I'd have replied last night to apologise but by the time I donked off in the 8pmer my phone was dead, I did receive a text though saying that some big flopper was lambasting me on the forums :o( If it's any consolation please know that I knew I'd be an unmitigated disaster on the mike and had avoided TK like the plague for the previous 4 hours when I got wind he was gonna get me on the live stream!!! Alas, I sold my soul to the devil for the price of a breakfast and a bit of peace and quiet, and well..you heard the result!!! I tried to give the mike back to Tighty three times before he actually accepted it!! I did try telling everyone that I sound like a 12 yr old on speed but no-one was paying any heed.... Please apologise to whichever 'friend' of yours I tilted, it really was not my intention...If i'd have known who it was earlier I'd have apologised in person and offered to buy them a pint..it really was just a bit of banter and fun and I'm sorry if I spoiled it for you :o(( I'm swerving Cardiff but please tell whoever it was to come and find me at DTD for the afore mentioned pint... All in all an excellent weekend, it was fantastic to catch up with friends old and new..and a HUGE congratulations and welcome to TKPers newst recruit HAPPYNIGE!!!! Wp Brommers, a fine victory sir!!!! An extra HUGE THANKYOU to all the Sky TK, Blandie, Tighty, Hoppy, Claire, the LOVELY LML, Oford and everone behind the scenes!! Tower rocked also ;o))) ...you lot work floppin hard on our behalf and it is VERY much appreciated!!!!!! Onwards and upwards xx

    Just want to say thank you to all those who sent words of encouragements and congratulations to Adam Bromley ... a very happy chap is on his way back from Leeds grinning from ear to ear and showing his trophy to everyone from the taxi driver to the security guard! This is why we love Sky Poker!!

    Thanks Dave...I got the right cards at the right time against you and you were very unlucky.

    I started on the red wine thinking I was on my way out of the tourney and getting ready for a night out...three hours later and I was heads up...whoops!!

    Sorry Richard, i think you'll be 20% dog with a pair v higher pair but will finish a creditable 69th ....no doubt your favouriute number. Mind i'm completely new to the site(just over a week!) and game so what would i know. I've enjoyed starting to learn and the sky poker tv channel has been brilliant for improving my understanding of the intricasies of the game. There a long way to go but i'm loving the challenge of it all. Hope to meet someof the gang, Tikay, Trev etc one day at a live event. I'm playing in my first ever one at my local casino tonight.  GOOD LUCK to us both!!!
