    ILL ask for a trade JH had an ok finish in the deep stack, but busted early in the BH so hurt my score alot.

    If you read back through the last 40+ posts, Paul, you'll see that I "compromised" and amended the rules after several players voiced their dissatisfaction with the original format.

    However, I'm willing to make an exemption in your case, as you mentioned your holiday in advance.  I assume that you wish to apply for a trade next week, regardless of my results?

    I am so tempted to trade, as i think numbers might be lower next few weeks..........and theres no way i can do that bad again/james get so lucky................................however already 2 or more from north hav traded.........hmmmm decisions decisions Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    Did you read my reply to your earlier post?

    Everyone now knows that, going forward, you can't miss a week (i.e. not "pay to play") and expect your scores to improve.  So, going forward, the rules are clear.

    There was a large number of absent players last night: some forgot the league started on the 24th; others didn't get the tournament details in time.  Either way, I feel it's only fair to extend a one-week "amnesty."

    By my reckoning, if 4 people per league ask for a trade each week, by week 5, the 4/5 remaining players have a 50/50 chance to trade up.....

    It should make weeks 3 & 4 very interesting indeed......... unless of course there are any further "twists"

    a better twist would have been to allow everyone to change 1 'a' score and one 'b' score for yours on any given week, but by the next day so they couldnt wait to decide at the end! this would have been fair to all, not just the few!

    Why is everyone so concerned about James' finishing position, he may be out 1st each week going forward....... and he may even sit out one week so there is no benefit trading....

    ok, put my name in the hat please James,Horrible score in the bh after running my two pair into your set,which i knew you had and told you so,and you even comfirmed it in the chatbox before hand lol.I just had to look,my bad
    This moment of madness leaves me in bad position,i was hoping that the twist was going to involve removing worst couple of results,but hey my only hope now is to ask for a trade.cheers..

    Darn it, forgot all about the deadline.  Had a stinker in week 1.

    Personally I like this twist, it's a good laugh and unique.  Then again if I did take James' finishing positions I would have to take a 2 hour shower while muttering 'The dirt's not coming off, the dirt's not coming off...'
