  hi   love this thread   just wondering why no one has mentioned the VIC casino   seems to have everything we are looking for   im sure lots of sky players would love the chance to play at this iconic venue   once again just an idea

Hi Mark,

As explained on Page 2 of this thread, I'm afraid "The Vic" would be deemed "highly unsuitable" (& thats being diplomatic) for a leg of the Sky Poker Tour. It is not our view that they do justice to third party events, or give our Players the respect they deserve, so we will not be going there anytime soon. Venues MUST respect our players, & our Tour.

I have been involved in third party events at The Vic whilst wearing other business hats, & I'm in no rush to repeat that experience.

Any chance of giving Bristol Gala another go Tikay?

The staff/Managers have changed numerous times since we were last there and seems to be run a lot better now! It meets all the criteria IMO as long as they have enough dealers.

Not for 11/12, Charles, the Venues are pretty much set now, but it will certainly be considered for 12/13, & maybe earlier for some other stuff which is planned.....

They really did not do a very good job the last time we were there, it must be said, & that's not a risk we will take again.

Glad to hear there is going to be a 11/12 tour!

Can you divulge yet these venues?....or have you said too much already?

I've been watching this thread evolve with interest...

Some thoughts...

* Would like to see an organised SPT side event as per Leeds (without the sng clock though pls)

* Would prefer max 6 SPT events as it's difficult for players, teamies and railers to attend more on a small BR.

* Would like Sky to bring blank ID 'stickers' so that railers and teamies not in the ME can use these to be identified if they wish.

* Would like Sky/casino negotiations to include two SPT 'self-deal' sng tables with buy in to be determined by players. 

* Would prefer not to eat a rubbish chicken curry at each SPT (I'm from Bradford, we're curry spoilt here)

* Keep the live feed & LML...both BRILLIANT.

* Would like a chat box on the live stream for the home viewers.

* DTD have an cardcam feature table...would like to see this utilised at the final.

* Although not actually part of the tour please ask casino's to treat Sky players travelling to attend any 'live' satellite qualification with respect..sadly not the case in Leeds.

Finally

* Keep up the great work Sky...SPT's are the NUTZ innit
