7.15 - 2nd level qq, flop j high, pot is upto 7k, have 2 k behind, turn comes ace, know he has it but still put my last 2k in, leaves me 600 chips, grind back and at one point have 10k, but it soon dwindles down i end up pushing jj into aa and finish 69th.
7.45 - First level push kk into ak, nothing else need to be said, left me around 500 chips, ive hung around a little while but currently have 4 bb and 102nd of 102.
8.30 - miss first hand as table didnt load in time, second hand get it all in pre with ak, v kq and im out, didnt see what position but probably last.
Will be very very surprised if i dont pick up the wooden spoon, sorry guys, hope some of you are running/playing better

WP Young Gun, you really are on fire at the mo, you'll have to give me some tips.
I'm trying to get my game back in tune atm, I have been playing like a donk recently, and need to get back to basics. I may well try the DTD next week, but when I've tried multi tabling in the past, my game seems to fall apart, and as i say I need to get my game back to some sort of consistency.

I cant get used to the miniview, so i keep the big tables up, & 'tile' them, this way they do pop forward when your turn to act!!
this is easy with 2 tables, found it ok with three, last few weeks, went for 4 last nite to include Main event, GOT 21st so done ok, but for a relative beginner like me, wer'nt easy as i get distracted by the chat LOL!!

You ask yourself how can you go from a winning player to a losing player it doesn't make any sense. All those hours playing STT and now tring to play MTT then the light in the head goes on STOP you don't know what your doing I replies your wright I don't but who do I ask what do I do ?.
I know I will stop and go back to playing STT at least there I can make a few quid, but that's not what I really want to do I just want to be able to understand MTT and start to enjoy my poker again.

Best way to multi table is in mini really, you may miss out some banter but you will play better for it. I basically just added 1 table whenever got bored eg. browing the forums etc even Sunday was in 5 on here and 1 PS and i still was looking at the forum its just really getting used to it really.
It depends on how i tile them, sometimes i will have in stages and what level they are from right to left usually, but if i have a bigger buy in eg. ME i tend to put in the centre so the more important ones.
I only occasionally check the lobby for bubble purposes although generally i usually know based on the number of runners etc.
Also if you are mini viewing i would either stick to 1 seat on all eg. middle top, or others will put as close together eg. if you have 4 tables put in corner seats so your in the middle on each. it depends on prefereance really try it out maybe on nl4 or on Dym and see what suits.

If you have any basic errors you can see you are doing send me a pm and i will see if i or someone more experianced (Dohhh) can help, if not i can send you some basic MTT strategies or advice but i cant gurantee it will transform you much im afraid as everyone has a different style and ultimately its what suits your game. although i am more then happy to discuss or attempt to help anyone

I haven't attempted any more than 4 tables at once, but I find I play slightly better (most of the time!) as I don't seem to play a rubbish hand just for the sake of playing!!!
What I'm looking for advice on is building my BR........Am I better taking some time out until I have a bigger BR rather than puttin on the odd fiver here and there? Am I also better playing DYM's to build it up?

if your playing tourneys 2-3% max eg. 40 buy ins, although this depends if you mind depositing or not also whether you think you can beat a tourney which is higher in my experiance is ok as long as you know what you can beat.
Cash no more then 5% of your role at any time so whether its on 1 table or 4 you should have 20 buy ins for it minimum
maybe someone else can help or if not post in the clinic section your probably get your best advice
Hello just a quick note that may be worth a look
i have played 3 freerolls over the last two weeks and have cashed 3 times without the 50p rebuys/add ons
i know these things can be long but i managed a 2nd 5th and 18th and cashed over £20 i found these freerolls to be fairly easy to sit back and wait for the players/cards to come and hang themselves i played the free rolls to take time out of a lil down swing and managed £20 profit for free. so i think it could be worth a look ;0)

Either, I've built my roll up through luck which has now turned and I either improve my game or go broke.
Or, I've built my roll up through playing well enough, in which case that game is still in me, I can turn this around, but there's still room to improve as well.
I'm still banking on the second option at the moment, but it's incredible how fragile confidence becomes when you're losing.
If I do go broke from here I will walk away though, I've no intention of becoming a regular losing player and serial depositer. At the very least I've got the monitor I won in February, so I'll still have something to show from playing the game here. Plus those I've met online along the way.

I have read ur posts, and u have recieved some good advice from YG & monkey, Two players who i respect immenseley!! Listen too their wise words, as i do!!
I cannot give you poker advice, as i am hardly qualified too!! Where I can help is sometimes stating the obvious!!
If you are a recreational player, make sure u are enjoying your poker, if you are pressured by the level you are on, DROP DOWN one or Two!! If you are not enjoyin the type of games u play, try something different, as u would a new food dish when bored!
If you are lookin to grind some money, Focus & Discipline should be your pillars of strength, as in any form of professionalism!!
The top 1% of high fliers manage to find the fine tuned mix of both, to stand out uniquley from the crowd in Work, Sport or Poker!!
Mere mortals may aspire to reaching the top 20/30% in their chosen discipline. YG, Monkey,DOHHHH & others, will reach thru the top 5% & achieve that 1% Nirvana!! As with patience, focus, and with a relaxed, open mind I wish ALL the HitSquad to !!
Problems I face, which must be avoided are distractions, Always play in the right frame of mind!!
Pressure at work or home/family can bubble to surface at key descision pressure moments!!
Be relaxed, and of clear mind, when you can achieve this, your descisions in ALL areas will surprise you!!
It aint Easy!! But try your best, and dont find excuses to fail, find reasons to SUCCEED!!!
