This hand is from Jokerstars, we are fairly deep in a rebuy, 472 players remain from over 2000 starters, average stack is around 22K. A few hands before this I'd made a big (and probably correct) lay-down with AA and 6789 on the board.
Hand cliff notes; I get it all-in on the turn with a set and 91% equity for a 50K pot, the villain rivers one of his four outs to make a straight and knock me out.

sick ul gary im sure it will change i had minor change last night wen took down £2.20 deepie lets hope its turned now :P keep getting in good and it should turn... Posted by YOUNG_GUN
Yep, that one was pretty awful, I added it to show that my spell of run-bad isn't just confined to Sky. My luck has to turn sooner or later. Once my cards start to hold a fair share of the time in the crucial spots I'm sure I'll soon be back to winning ways.
Here, have some more to keep yourself feeling good. Just doesn't end. Had a few where I've run into monsters with legit hands as well- feels just as bad (I'm looking at you and your kings, Shanx!!!) Posted by DeucesLive
sorry!
fwiw iv had sum monsta run bad this month, hope it changes in June
This afternoon I entered 2 tournaments. On Sky I played in a Bounty Hunter, it only had a small field, 20 runners, but I managed to take it down. That made me very happy being first tournament win for at least a month. On another site I played in a $3 rebuy with 355 runners (I took 1 re-buy and 1 add-on). After over 5 hours of play I've just shipped the tournament and the $856 first prize, it was my second biggest ever online win.

Wow, nice work.
It's weird how they come along like London buses. Patience ftw. Young Gun and Bandini ....... who's gonna be next?
gary, i've been running worse than a 3 legged donkey for about 6 weeks, this just sums it up! want some advice mate, surely i cant get away from this.....even in level 2 of a deepy I raised 6x pre so ruled out the villain having the 7. How would you have played this hand? I always value your opinion so what are your thoughts? I'm struggling with my game big style at the min, is a break in order even though I'm fresh back from a break before this run? I feel like quitting!!!!! lol
Ouch, that is brutal cooler. Nobody can ever get away from that in a million years. You played the hand perfectly well IMO, if it was me I'd be happily calling down the streets too, I suppose the turn 7 is enough to make you wonder slightly but he's much more likely to show up with a big pair than the 7.
All I can say is that skill always prevails in the long run, hang on in there and be patient until fortune turns your way. Keep the voulme down and play at the lower buy-ins until you feel variance is being kinder to you. If you find yourself doubting your ability look up your own graph on Sharkscope for a reality check, it's what happens over the long run that counts. A big score and a heater will pop up when you least expect it. You've done it before and you'll do it again.

+1 good advice gary mtts are a funny breed all you need is one decent win to be able to go for a few months patience is the key. I think you have to endure more bad beats playing mtts than any other format gl (unless your greghogg)
