I think you'll find I actually already did that, explaining why I thought he played that particular tournament poorly, in the content of earlier posts - coming second regardless. A by product of pure luck in this instance
People like you forget that there are no definitively correct approachs to poker, you just very narrow mindidly attack others POV, assuming ignorance where there is only atlernate approach.
I dont disregard the uber aggro approach. I just think in this particular game he let the reward/risk factor tip far too heavily towards the needless risk end of the scale on far too many occassions.
So every time you post a thread, 'with an idea for discussion' and then people discuss it and you go full circle and explain how you're right all along that's you helping us out kindly? I understand this might have been your perception at one point, but that time has far since passed. I realised that I could put things across in a way that was clearer and less easy to misinterpret, and started to do so
But either way, as usual you are just looking to ridicule and demean others, utterly needlessly. Everyone is passionate about their own approach, regardless of how diverse they are, none being difinitively correct.
just watched the FT after recording it, and now seen the arguement lol.
lets remember that not all the hands are show on tv only the important ones that count.
I also think the fact that both of these players making the final table is a achievement in its own, therefore neither of these players are Douche's. I enjoyed Chris Olivers play over the last couple of episodes and he made sick 3-bets, 4-bets with cards i wouldn't even call with lol.
Although i already knew who won the Event (After Mr.Hartigan aired it during the live stream of Champion of Champions)
I think Hall outplayed Oliver and deserved to win, that laydown with the straight was insane(even though i knew he would lay it down lol)
enjoyed the commentary from Reynolds and Hartigan, love how they still sound enthusiastic even though they both already know the result.
Anyone know if there's poker same time next week, and what show.

Look forward to it.
Question: Do you find it difficult to be so enthusiastic, eg. when Hall folded that straight, against the full house of Oliver's, cos obv you already knew Hall wins the event.

I liked his play last week, but as others have said when it got to the HU and especially after that call with the 6 against Halls QQ, even though he was still about a 1/4 dog he looked like he just wanted to get it over with and when Hall took his jacket off you knew he was ready for the long haul and looking the more focused
I think we,ll see more of him though, with such an aggro game
Ps - I was rooting for Moneymaker - You could tell how much he really wanted it and not just for the money
i think if oliver had re raised halls raise on the river when he had the full house and hall had the str8 instead of jamming i think hall would have gone over the top allin and oliver took it down what a lay down it was
