Having problems with the Sky site, virtually every game I play the site freezes and I cant bet on my hand and get timed out, in general if I'm not in the big blind don't get enough time to bet. Has anyone else had the same problem, and if so how do you overcome it?

Just a suggestion but this week why dont sky move the forum dtd to sunday night. I can imagine numbers will be well down otherwise

Thanks Rab Mc I was using explorer, switched to firefox and managed to play a whole tournament yesterday evening, but today it was back to playing up, next tournament will be played on pc plugged in with an ether cable instead of wifi. If that doesn't work I shall have to continue my internet poker on Simon Trumper's site! Doesn't freeze on there, however tech department at sky say they don't have a problem. Will still go to Sky tour events even if I have to buy in direct!

Hi Elguy,

Just got a few questions before I try to give advice....

1. Are you playing through the browser or do you use the download client to play?

2. Do you find your computer is slow with anything else (like playing Youtube videos) or is it just on Sky?

3. Is it disconnecting you from the table/site or is everything just going REALLY slowly, so you've ended up timing out before you've had a chance to see the action and make a decision?

Hi Lambert

In response to your questions I was using the download and then accessing the Internet via explorer or Firefox. I wasn't losing connection the site was just running slow for me yet appeared to run normally for everyone else. I did manage to play a tournament with virtually no problems yesterday it was only a £50 guaranteed tournament but I took the £25 first place lol
