Burnsy would you like to hear about my BH experience last night? I said I'm going to play tight and you said "good idea". Well 3 hands on the trot I folded Q2 would have hit FH,83 would have hit FH and the 3rd was 10 ? another FH! All folded cos of big preflop raises. The good news is I won one head! The bad news is I won **** all else!

    Thanks goes out to J3ono who came and supported me agaisnt an abusive player and yes the revenge was he lost his chips silly boy lol Strange thing was after being at same table as Unbpower found out he had the same problem with this guy as well I am sure if you ask any of us at the tables we will say who it is, well done my friend (unnamed abusive player keeping formum rules Kiwin being good lol) you are making so many enemies out there I am sure the sky comunity will enjoy taking all your bankroll lol

    Evening all.

    I'm of the casino for the first time on sunday, (Alea in leeds)

    So what should I expect?
    What shouldn't I do? (I have played live mates houses before)
    And any tips?

    I haven't played live but apparently a top tip from Thomas Kremzer, a tournament director is if you win a hand keep hold of your cards until the dealer actually pushes the chips towards you, or you could be deemed to have mucked. Hope you enjoy it.

    WD mrb nice cash.WD trev, what makes me think you like those timed tourney.WD jonny nice cash and vul with that last hand.Dont worry about it sporn it will all change soon.I got my all in called by 72 by the big stack luckily i had my usual AA so it held up.The idea of having a big stack means you can call with anything and usually have two live cards.Dont know what the real odds are but if i hadn't had a pair its something like 38% and nothing out of his big stack.Always another tourney sporn.

    Sporny you know how it feels and I am cashing but still having the same problem as you keep with it it will change.

    The last hand you posted was unlucky but with 3 drawing to the pot and with that board  not only opening up str and flush draws etc I would have put the other players to the test with a bigger bet. I would say the other player thought you may be weak and bluffed the pot and just got the unreal 1 outer. Your a good player and I only say this to try and help. Yes there are way too many donks out there but I am learning to not give them a easy ride to stupid outs but it still does happen way to much and just trying now to laugh it off and go right thats over each torny is a fresh start to win :)

    I agree with MrB here, a 3 or 4 x bet may have taken this hand down. If you min bet here, the other player will take it as a sign of weakness and try to bully you off the hand. It looks like he has shoved here with a bluff to win the pot and got very lucky. But forget all about him getting lucky, get back to making the right plays 3,4 or even 5 x bets will ask the oppo questions and it would then be very hard for him to shove over the top here.

    You have already answered your other problem regarding getting beat by the Big Stacks. Keep away from them. If your short stacked they will call you with any 2 (I do the same) use position and bully the shorter stacks instead.

    Just remember position and play your normal range and don't get scared of the 1 card over card on the flop.

    Sporny re the hand you posted. I have to agree with burnsy and Trevor. At the early levels you need to make the pre flop raise a lot bigger. I would be looking at anywhere between 150 and 180. Post flop you hit top pr with A kicker you need to bet a min of 3/4 of the pot. I know you hit top pr on this occasion but if you had missed would you c-bet? Isn't it better to take the blinds pre or take the hand on the flop rather than lose it? I know I'd sooner win a small pot than lose a big one. Overall aggression will win you pots so don't be afraid to get those chips in.
