After doing more community service today ( 6 hours cutting back hedges and getting attacked by brambles- no photo shoot for me for the next 3 months while the cuts heal.....makes me seriously think i should never have killed all those fish on the river,lol) i am now very tired so if i fall asleep on any of your tables please don't steal my blinds and just let me win,lol.

Yes, and I still do advocate this, however, it applies to the table of fishies. The reason we raise more than 3-4 x pre-flop against the fishes is because we DO want to tel them we have a BIG Pocket Pair as they are less likely to come along for the ride.
On the other foot though, if we have a solid player on our table, as in your case, it can work against us, so we can't asume it will work in all instances.
If I have KK, QQ, AA and I raise 2-3 x BB and all the fishes come along I have more chance of getting beat so I keep increasing my raises pre-flop until the point that most of them will fold.
If I then get moved tables and have scotty77 or supersnedd sat on the other side, I know this type of raise will give him info which he can use against me so we have to use it when and where its needed, so it can be table/player related in some instances.
There's no hard and fast rule, but if i'm consistantly getting involved in multi-player pots, I use the bigger raise pre-flop to reduce the number of players coming along for the ride.
