    Well played haylez ! really made up for you !!! and dont worry there is always next week ayyyyyy, nevertheless solid cash !!!! i ran absolutly awful last night EVERYTIME i got it in good I new a suckout was coming so frustrating as it seemed to constantly be when it matters after satting into the 55 quid side the run tourne and the cash game and in all 3 i get rivered by 2 or 3 outers !!! made a couple of finals during the day so i pretty much broke even which feels good today after the night i had last night !! also I have chat banned myself because i lost it in the chatbox a few times last night and its wrong ! so if u speak to me and i dont reply it is because i have chat banned myself !! anyways my tournes rnt showing up so il post em when they do !!! gl tnite all !!!!

    8th place was well past my expectations as i was down to 750 chips atblind level 1k/2k and managed to work my way up to chip leader with 77k in chips, i lost half my stack when my a5 lost to a2 and then did well to stay in there it seemed like i was making the correct calls, and to finish in 8th is fantastic for me had a great 4 weeks or so, i had always been depositing money until the last few weeks where i have withdrawn a hell of a lot of money which is great.

    Was also great to be on skypokertv channel, although one of the hands i was trying to ladder up where two went all in before me and i had AJ I didnt know what to do so i folded which did ladder me up  two places and experts said i should of thrown it all in, slight mistake maybe if i had a bit more experience i would of made the right call but i am sure that i will learn from that and hopefully improve in the future.

    thanks to all the railers as always.

    sadly i am working for the next few nights so doubt il be able to get on unless some of my staff actually turn up for work, i am hopeful for maybe saturday or sunday night but apart from that i am in work for the next 11 days or so.

    will rail people before work but not much point going into tournaments as i wont be able to complete them if i run well.

    hayley, ignore the presenters advice some of the time
    my one & only hand i've had on 861 was in the primo and that poker giant ryan spittles critized me for cbetting my AK on a 2810 flop,,,,,,, well done again

    out of main had straight to ace all in needed the board not to pair, ouch..

    aq vs 56 against macmonster, quite disappointed to be fair had macmonster one side of me bromley on the other getting bullied left right and centre finally get a hand and he puts me all in with 56 its a joke.

    been getting sick for like half an hour for my succesful straight draw and then this, sorry for rant feel better tomorrow hopefully.

    when in a tournament and when you have a very decent player on your left (macmonster) and probably a better one on your right (bromley) and they raise every hand and start bullying raise you all in every big blind, what i did was to hold on in their till i got a hand which in this case was aq, which he made me go all in he only had 56.

    and i went out with aq vs 56 any suggestions what i can do in future, really annoyed me, suppose just put it down to experience

    That's exactly what you should do. Wait till you get a premium hand and if possible try to shove before they do. In that particular case you knew he was being aggressive with any 2 cards so the call was right. But AQ against 65 is still only likely to win 60% of the time.Just terribly unlucky and so frustrating.

    just to say played the primo for 1st time last night down to 600 at 1 stage shouldve gone out when shoved with kq into aa when the blinds were 100 /200b ut rivered a q for trips then comes kid min raise with about 6k when blind 400/800 i had 11k shoves with aq hes got a8sooted i hit trips he rivers a club for flush then with 8bb shoves with 88 into kq he hits k on flop so finishes 37th quite pleased tho with way i played heading in the right direction ty for rail jj and haylez gl all in dtd tonight

    well played all, over the past 3 weeks i have been running so well it is untrue but last few nights nothing really going for me although i satted in to the £55 bh for 2.40 which took 2 hours.

    AA VS 910 - i lost out so lost over half my stack, but managed to get it back up to 8k when i raised with 10,10 and a flop of a109, and i was forced all which i was happy with but he managed to have runner runner for a straight.

    is it just bad luck or should i be looking to play it passively, maybe thats the way it goes from time to time i guess thoughts more than welcome.

    saying that in general i couldnt be more pleased with my cashes over the past month not to mention having a great run on the cash tables starting with 120 and withdrawing 1100 after 2 hours, also lost a mega pot though which cost me 490, so i suspose its the way it is.

    Well done Haylez you've had some great results lately. It's good to see someone use the thread for advice, take things on board and try to improve their game. Glad to see it's paying off for you.

     I also want to say I know I haven't done a great deal of railing lately but there are certain things going on in my personal life at the moment which aren't great but have had to take priority over poker. Hopefully I'll feel more positive soon and I'll put in a bit more time supporting you all.

    Well done ALL on your cashes.

    An encouraging word from the captain. 
    Bad beats are tough to take at times but we all get them. If we had an endless bankroll i'm sure it would be so much easier to accept them, but in reality most of us are casual players with a limited bankroll and that makes badbeats that much harder to accept at times. (Believe me, I've had my moments too :)  

    It's also easy to forget the times when we get lucky and when that luck became the turning point in our tournament or even the turning point from a downswing. Upswings can come from just a solitary hand....a split pot that keeps us in a tourney or an impossible river card that we hit. Those hands are oh so easy to forget, but poker is all about luck and trying to minimise the chances of losing our stack & weighing up the risks when we get them all in pre-flop or on the flop, turn & river - it's all about making decisions, playing solid poker and also staying lucky.

    In reality and in most instances, we will only ever have a very small edge against our opponents, we rely on our luck but sometimes and all too often it seams to let us down at the most inopportune moments. We have to accept we are going to have some bad luck and make the most out of our good luck, cause you never know what direction the next hand will send us in.

    I wish you all the very best "Run Good" & remember to treasure those winning moments when Mr. Imonna Downswing comes knocking on the door to collect his payments :)
