    Nice start to the £20k UKOPS BH this evening, near the lead for the first couple of hours.  However lost a good chunk of chips with a series of AK's that didn't improve and tilted the remainder of chips for an ignominious exit.

    Still managed 5 heads on the way and satellite in for £10 so not a bad night.  Gl to all playing tonight.

    i was drunk when i played this game i called a all in with 52 knocked two guys out earlier on. i played like a right fish!! i also fell asleep half way through the game. i dunno what it is with this site lately the fish seem to get rewarded lol. iv had lots of bad beats lately its starting to make me think

    Do you write your own material? That's so funny. Well done last night in DTD good effort.

    Dai sites no worse it's just variance that's why your seeing them hit more often. As long as you get it in good then that's all you can do.

    Hey guys, taken a bit of a break as I was on a serious downswing. Tried to satellite into the 20k ukops a couple of times to no avail. So I went for the less glamorous £600 BH and finished 4th.

    Nice cash Daiw & unlucky matt......
    Downswings are part of the game, but that doesn't make them any less annoying or frustrating, cause they certainly are (Take it from me) and sometimes it's very difficult to deal with - All we can do is minimise the risks, tighten up until we get our confidence back and/or the tide turns in our favour.

    It's not easy and I wish I had all the answers but unfortunately I don't - i'm having a hard enough time myself of late, so i'm just trying to ride it out and play as optimally as I can.

    I've tried tightening up in some spots too, but getting QQ in 4 times for my life, being behind each time and exiting in one night is a bit sickening :-(

    Ran AQ into KK which left me 2.4K - then shoved with 55 which didnt hold.

    I could have sat tighter on the bubble, but thats not my style especially when the table was playing so tight.

    Maybe next time :)

    Matts back. 5 Tournaments, 3 final tables. Each that had Sick exit hands but whatever eh. Ran deep in the other 2 but didn't quite make the cash. Played some good poker and ran ok for a change :-)
