    Happy Birthday Johnny :)

    Just to let you all know....I'm on a break at the mo.

    After 6 years of playing almost every night......and as enjoyable as it is..........I just need a little time off.

    FlyingDagg (Vicey) will take the reigns in my absence.

    I am planning on going to Blackpool for Friday 13th June & Saturday 14th June for some World Cup Action & a lot of poker at G-Casino Blackpool...........

    Everyone is welcome...........

    If you need a place to stay....ask me......my mom & dad have a B&B not too far away from the casino.

    Trev we all need a break now and again.I hope you enjoy your your break.I hope to play tonight.I managed to get 4th in  deepy yesterday.That was despite not being able to to bend my fingers.I woke up this morning hoping it wouldn't hurt.I was wrong and it's now swollen.All fun and games lol.Gl at the tables guys.

    Matt your not the only one who wasn't happy last night. Some of the poker was shocking and totally frustrated me as you probably realised when I decided I'd had enough and shoved with middle pair on the flop. Worse example was i'm in the BB and 5 flat calls. I have AQ suited so I raise about 7x and get 5 callers! Crazy.

    I reckon at least a dozen so far hopefully more. Myself Jonny Trev Benalman and a new player who works with him, Hayles Sam and Gemma lyonsbob. There's others but these are off the top of my head. Some others have posted on Facebook saying they are coming.

    finished 3rd in the £750 BH things were going great then it all changes when the final table gets a weak passive player.

    i also got 12th in the orford league and won £7.64

    i have a question for you team, in the late stages of these MTTs i see limpers attempting to steal pots by limping in pre then min betting on any flop, if i want to win an MTT i will need to combat this so i'm starting to think of maybe Ch/R some of my hands on the flop.
    how does it sound?
    i've tried donking but that can be easy to view as a bluff, a Ch/R i'm thinking would be sure to show strength and if he jammed i will fold knowing he has certainly got something.

    have a good time in blackpool, would love to come myself but the carer is a big obstical for me as he is not allowed on anything which would involve gambling and it will be a nightmare for me to try going myself, it was 2 years battling before they allowed me to go with a good friend on the cycle holidays.

    Hey everybody, I was just wondering what the details were for the Blackpool trip? I've seen the thread but just wondered what time people were getting there? I'm trying to arrange the aft off work and some child care. I'm coming from Bradford so a couple of hours travel for me, would be looking to get there about 3pm ish and actually meet some of you nice people ;)

    Isolate them pre flop, you don't have to have a hand to do this. 

    Also dependant on your position/stack size you could isolate them by jamming pre and take it down.

    Info for Blackpool

    Most people will be arriving Friday afternoon between 12 and 5 pm I reckon. Sam suggested meeting at Tommy Ducks, facing the Casino, for drinks and teatime meal. The tourney at G casino kicks off at 8 pm £55 buy in. I'm not sure what time I'll be there yet need to sort it out with Duncan. There's nothing decided yet for Saturday apart from footie in casino (big screeens and lots of them if I remember)and there's a £35 buy in tourney that night too.

    Remember if you need to book a room it is the holiday season so I wouldn't leave it too late.

    Regarding the 'Jonnys Jolly Boys' outing. I would have loved to have joined up with you all again. Alas, it's the first day of my holiday this year and I can't make it.
    Really hope you get good numbers and it's something that can be done again the future. Would be great to make it a regular thing.
