I just thought I would remeniss a bit and show you what a 163.000 (thousand) chips looks like at an SPT Grand Final Event.

Yes that really is me!!



Its truly amazing to sit live with that many chips and that much power compared to having the same amount of chips online. You really need to experience it 1st hand.

Those purple ones were worth 5000 a piece and the little red ones 500 a piece. Just poking out from the back (The Green Ones) were 1000 a piece and last but not least the grey ones were 100 each.

Anyway as most of you are aware I finished 18th for £485 but the fella that took me out was LjamesL who eventually took the tourny down so that was some consolation.

But for anyone who has never tried it - its a must and I would encourage anyone no matter how much experience you have to give it a shot at a live SPT event.

Its really something else!!!!

Managed to cash in the £50 side event at DTD Nottingham for £92.00.  131 runners with 13 paid and I came 13th lol.  I have to admit getting very lucky at times for example 88 v JJ v 89 with flop 89x for a nice treble up. When I was shortstacked

Unfortunately I didn't run as well as I would have liked in the SPT main event so it's back to the side events.  Using the £36 profit to buy into tonight's £30 game so effectively I'm free rolling in that game.
