    A few New Year's resolutions being put in place.  So far so good.

    Managed to qualify again for the UKPC final on Sunday night, worth £220 in theory!  One time I might put up a show in the final, let's see this week!

    Also managed a deep run in the £50 BH.  Went out in 9th with JJ<AK in a flip that would have put me top 4.  Still pleased with how I played, especially after an early upset put me down to about 1800 chips.

    Great night tonight.  Had a deep run in the roller, eventually going out in 25th place, just in the cash.  Had a chance to double up for a chance to run at the FT with AKs, called all in and lost to KK.  Ah well.

    Very excited as I managed to cling on for the final place at the Nottingham UKPC in tonight's final, which has been a big ambition for quite a while.  Qualified via a satellite yesterday, so a top result for me.

    i satellite into this tourney again but had probally one of the worst calls i have ever seen and i cant really say what i really think because i don't think a lot on here would like it

    i had one of the sickest beats and bad calls iv ever seen ft of the 55 quid bh bigboy raised i shuved with 77 he snapped call me with 23 and obviously he hit a str8 wtf is going on guys its like he felt like he was going to win. what i actually think of him i cant really comment on here i satellite into this tourney again and had gr8 chance winning it

    Depends on stack size I suppose, but that being said bounty hunters are a minefield.

    I played the same tourny tonight too & had a similar outcome.......

    AQ shoves, I re-raise all in with KK and 3rd player snaps with 63 - flop ran out 6,10,6, to give him trips - it's hard to take the knocks at times, but thats poker I suppose.

It was a mistake.......I'm blaming fatigue lol. Did you do another non league footy bet at the beginning of the season? How is it looking? Will there be a repeat of last seasons win for you?

    Not counting any chickens yet but I think i'm gunna win bigger than last season. I took a big big big gamble (mainly due to last seasons paying off) and put £100 on AFC Fylde e/w @ 25/1 for the Conference North title because I thought the price was absolutely amazing, and from this season so far no team has come close to their quality and with them sitting 5 points clear with a game in hand i'm feeling quite confident with that, even if they don't win it, nailed on top 3 odds slashed 1/4. Leagues Acca I went with them (25/1 and 1st, Conf North) , Bromley (9/1 and 2nd Conf South) , Corby (14/1 and 1st Southern Prem) , FCUM (9/1 and 5th, games in hand Northern Prem) and Maidstone (13/2 and 2nd, games in hand Ryman Prem) So I could be looking at a huge win. Long way to go yet though. You wouldn't believe how easy non league is to predict at times. Also had some punts at Chorley 25/1 Conf North and Eastleigh 18/1 Conference Prem but they probably won't come in. 

    Football league bets are something of a disaster. Maybe i'll stick to the part timers :-)

    My dad put a weeks wage on Fylde winning our league aswell at the start of the season ... so no pressure on me obviously, I don't even wanna know what my dad would win off that. (Hes a manager at ladbrokes)

    Not in your "league" but my sneaky football tip is for York to finish in the top half of league 2.  You can get 5/1 still and we're starting to show some real form under the new manager.

    Would say the same with Cheltenham aswell, new manager is best mates with Liverpool academy director and has 4+ players on loan for a month minimum so expecting to see them climb.

    Conference North way too easy this year, picked 6 teams that I could bet on and 5 of them sat in top 5.

    Yeah it was a shame about your connection, you lost a good chunk of your stack at one stage. Who knows where you could have ended up without the connection issues. Still, always good to make free money. Wp and gl in DTD tonight if you're playing.

    Not just me that fancied Wigan then. I thought they would mount a serious challenge after quite a good season last yr but then they sold their best players. The Championship is the most unpredictable league in WORLD football imo.

    Ah well, always next season! Hope your bet comes in as well as your Dad's. I will definitely be sending you a pm pre season for a tip!
