Can I just say that I met up with the outlaws, along with Hitsquad and TKP at Newcastle.  I think I had a drink with members of each team, and got on well with one and all. That was the whole idea of the weekend, meet up and have some fun.  The outlaws certainly did that with gusto.  I, along with others, enjoyed their company.  I can understand that the two players who have left the team, thought that the Outlaws(drunken rabble) were a better fit for them, and we have to respect that. I wish both Neil and Lee all the best, I enjoyed meeting you guys at Newcastle, and hope you enjoy being part of the Outlaws(drunken rabble).

What a great and informed post.
Enjoyed having a drink with you Craig. It was good to meet up with you and other members of your team such as Dale.

We chat online and join teams. People are naturally suited to different teams. When you actually meet in the flesh it becomes more apparent which team might be best for you.

TPT is a team that I have the utmost respect for. Great numbers always turn out in the DTD's and railing from players such as JJJach is 2nd to none. Martin, Geldy and Dale are perfect fits for TPT. I was in TPT for a short while and Geldy described me as a "shitt team member". I wasn't a good fit for TPT but found a home with the Outlaws. Lee and Neil decided that Outlaws might suit them better. There's no need for  any dramas. Were they encouraged to come and join us? Yep. We loved their company at Newcastle and wanted them to join us. Did we force them to come? No, obviously not. They wanted to join and as adults and not entirely stupid, they made the decision to do it.

The team element on Sky is wonderful. Let's not take it all too seriously though.

    Nice post m8.

Lets just move on & best of luck to you all.

    Can I just say though.........

I'm pretty sure harry is not to blame.......I mean, he probably has enough trouble poaching an egg tbf :)

and.....how can I put all the blame on that drunken missfit samfir?.......being the fit poker goddess that she is innit.......she can also be very persuasive whilst dancing on the tables tbh :)

The weekend sounds as though it was a great success which hopefully will continue with other events lined up for the future and I certainly hope to be able to participate & enjoy the fun & banter with all involved.........

Who knows.........maybe I can convince samfir to join TPT with my semi-naked table top karaoke routine (Not sure where i'm gonna put me pom poms though :)

Have a great Bank Holiday Weekend.

Hi all, I was really hoping this would not come to this, I was not in any way unhappy at TPT as has been suggested, I was also not forced in any way to change teams. I simply wanted to, I have always got on with certain players and indeed it was tententen (one of the earliest outlaws) who introduced me to and encouraged me to get involved in the DTD games. I really hope we can all put this behind us and just enjoy our poker. Neil

Hi Neil This has never been a personal thing and everyone knows that I am totally in favour of freedom of movement of players from one team to another. I felt on these 2 occasions that Outlaws overstepped the mark and made my feelings clear in the Captains Committee FB page. What was said in that group will remain in that group but from my point of view the Outlaws captain said nothing to calm the situation and in fact riled me further.

I also wish to say that I'm not the only one who deemed these episodes as poaching but of course the one who has  the guts to speak out is the one who gets vilified.

It was a pleasure to meet you at Newcastle (and RLT16) and wish you both good luck in the future. Now it's back to my sickbed yet again until I get the urge to throw up in a couple of hours.

Dale... you called my team names i cannot type here coz it wont let me. I think I've been pretty polite considering the accusations and insults you threw at me. I have actually copied and pasted the entire thing to my team as it happened,  and will happily do so in this thread if need be. Then people can judge for themselves can't they.

However, for now lets just leave it eh. You clearly arent well so focus on getting better please, not this. Take care Dale.

I try to steer clear of these discussions, but here's my two cents anyway...

Teams can be a tenuous umbilical.

Too many players get far too involved in team politics on this forum, when it is my firm belief that the vast majority of members just want to play poker and have fun while they are doing so.

I was in Newcastle and I'm a member of the HitSquad, but that doesn't mean that I am not allowed to have a drink with someone from another team, or that it is frowned upon if I share a joke outside of the catchment area, and I promise you this: the moment that becomes an issue is the moment I walk. I don't answer to anybody on this forum, and I see no reason why anyone else should either.

I spoke to a lot of Sky players in Aspers but not once did I ask any of them which team they played for. If it wasn't obvious from their conversation or attire, or I didn't happen to know, then I didn't ask. I couldn't care less to be honest. People are people, and segregation is not cool in any walk of life. And if you were there and didn't speak to me because I'm in the HitSquad, then shame on you sir... there are far better reasons not to speak to me ;)

As for the alleged poaching, well, perhaps my opinion isn't valid here. Perhaps there were some sinister deals that went on behind closed doors and in the dark corners of the casino, but I hung about with a few members of The Outlaws for a fair chunk of the weekend and all I saw was a bunch of guys and gals having a few drinks, gently teasing each other, and generally having a good time. If someone has seen this and has decided to 'jump ship', so be it. But that is not the definition of poaching... As an aside, nobody tried to steal me. In fact, I was actively discouraged from joining! How rude is that?

Ultimately, nobody stays in a team with a gun to their head, and I'm damn sure nobody moves under a similar threat. It's supposed to be fun, folks. Let's keep it that way before it gets ugly.

Still finding my way round so apologies for daft question if im completely wrong.

Copied from Outlaws page. time to draw an end to this.

Hi Outlaws hope you don't mind me posting here. Let me try and explain. When Neil (a top guy I agree) joined Outlaws so soon after Newcastle myself and others had suspicions of poaching. This is not something myself or others are in favour of whereas an unsigned player is a valid target for all teams. I then posted my views on an existing thread between David Harvey and Tasha in Captains Commitee FB page. The reply from Tasha or the short dialogue I had with another Outlaw did not confirm or deny he had been poached. In fact Tashas reply that anyone is fair game and she plays by her own rules did nothing to appease the situation and only added fuel to the fire. So what am I supposed to think?

I believe that both myself and Tasha should have handled this better and in private but I'm not the type of person to keep quiet when I believe that something is amiss. Hopefully this is the end of the matter now.

    Best wishes Dale

EDIT: id like to apologise to Tasha and all Outlaws for the language I used. I'm dissapointed in myself

Dale you are constantly rubbing people up the wrong way these days and over reacting to situations may I suggest maybe some time away from the tables to re assess life may help? If you ever need to talk im here for you along with a lot of other TPTers lol.
Trev may I voice my concern how your rules seem to be one for everyone else and one for your teams Vice Captain??
Do you have anything to say on the above matter?
Look forward to hearing from you
Good luck all at the tables
