iPad2 - can you play on this gadget?

This is a question from a technophobe who is looking to buy an iPad2. Are you able to play Sky poker on this tablet? I believe they don't have an app out yet for it and the pad doesn't play flash. Anybody know?

Not simply.  As you say no flash and no app make it a difficult job but it's not impossible.

You can get remote desktop software to play VIA the ipad.

Google ipad remote desktop and take a look.

Basically you'd be running the Sky Poker app on your pc but controlling it remotely via the ipad.

Apple don't allow real money gambling apps on any of their products. You might find a temporary work-around, but they're very vigilant about unapproved use and you're running a risk.

When you buy into Apple you have to do everything the Apple way whether you like it or not, forget the freedoms you get elsewhere, only Apple approved apps (software) can be installed.

BTW, you'll be alright if you want to play Zynga Facebook poker, that's approved lol.
