    tbf to Eyeman, there was a correction early this am, which may have mislead him!!

    Actually I am a bit worried about Maxally, he must have run out of Oars or summat, cause i canna believe he aint thrown one in here!!

    MAXALLY get youself down to the OarHouse, and use your frequent discount card to buy some more, apparently he goes to 'The Best Little OarHouse in Stoke', which unfortunately is not as succesful as it's Texas predecesor!!

    100% agreed, Michael. I will, whenever time & my Diary permits, continue to play the Forum DTD, too, but only as a solo individual.

    Revised Team League Points following on from an objection received at the High Court this morning from someone called 'shouldofgonetospecsavers'

    Team DTD.............Chris & Michael..............50pts
    Team Hitman.........Dave & Pup...................30pts
    Team Imber...........Imber & Imber..............30pts
    Team Sky..............Sky (for prizes)&TK.........25pts
    Team Players.........Everyone else................10pts


    Anybody got any objections to this??

    Graham, I have played DTD from the start and I have seen it grow month on month to where we are now. It is a lot more about fun and banterfor very little out lay than Team points, FACT. In fact, there is absolutely no prize in Hitman's League so it matters not really, apart from some added bragging rights by the Teams.

    Tikay, you have always supported DTD and your involvement is always welcomed by all who play DTD. So carry on please.

    Dave, I still didn't give you my shoe size to sort out the proper League points! :) 

    PS Well done to all who cashed last night and all who played and had some fun :)

    Guys, as I said before, I 100% WILL carry on supporting, & playing, DTD Forum. My respect for the organisers is immense, & I just don't want that we waste more of their time with fettling the scoring every time something unexpected (like me finishing 4th "solo"!) goes off, it's just intended to be a bit of fun, not serious.

    "Aggro" may have been the wrong word, if so, I apologize, but I will NOT be playing in the Team thing any more, end of, I don't make idle thtreats.

    Once the competition begins, in truth, then we should accept the rules, imo.

    I happen to like Graham (Eyeman) very much, in case anyone thinks otherwise, & I have no issues with him whatsoever. I disagree with his stance, as it's just intended to be a bit of fun, but there's nothing wrong with different opinions.

    Most of all, I've long reached the age where a) I have become stubborn, tetchy, & curmudgeonly, & b), I really don't want to go anywhere near arguments or upsets, I just don't, I've spent a lifetime mediating in disputes & dispute resolution, but that's in the past, & I don't want any more, I've had my fill of them, & a bit more besides.

    Peace to all, let's just enjoy this Monday Night fun. Next case.

    See some of you in Thews @ Ten tonight, when mostly I will try to be.....Binky-Man......

    I did end my post pointing out that I know it's all a bit of fun, and thanking the good folk (Chris, Michael and even Hitman) for their time an efforts. I echo Tikay's point that for £5.50, if you can find better value (apart from some of the cheaper ciders at Bargain Madness) then I'm an ugly northerner who is losing his hair. - oops, bad analogy.

    Teams of 1 cannot work, and i understand that Tikay has said that he will not be in a team of 1 any more. I certainly didn't mean to cause aggro, and I 100% understand that DTD is an individual competition. Anything other would lead to the prospect (or at least the suspicion of) collusion. Knocking out a fellow TKPer ranks alongside (or danged close to) knocking out a rival team captain (if only Trev didn't always have the nuts).

    As others have supported, I just pointed out an opinion. It is mine, and in a reasonably free world, I can express it, politely and frequently. If alternative viewpoints were never aired then we'd all be living in caves eating rats (ignore DOHHHHH for a moment, please).

    I love the DTD and will support it, even if there were not prizes for individuals / teams / tikay / Hartigan / even Hoggers. It's a cracking bit of banter, and a wonderful idea. 

    I promise not to post another thought on team scores again.

    P.S. the new individual scoring system is a huge improvement!

    +1 !! Storm in a teacup FTW!!!

    Teams have to start somewhere Graham, & 1 is the first point if somone starts one, then hopefully moves on to 2, then 3, then 4,  simples!! we cannot be number orientated!

    As for Tikay,  I do hope he plays as much as his valuable time allows, as with any of The Team Sky players!!
    All are welcome as always to DTD!! People can be in team or not, whatever they wish, I for One,would love more Tean Sky players to take part, as Tikay & aussie09 have done in past!!

    In conclusion, as it seems we have all agreed [eventually], ....

        Well it looks like it's gonna be a Cracking Month Folks       We had 13 New Players who made there Debut last nite & from the Feedback they all Enjoyed Themselves (n1). The Top 5 were all from Different Teams so i reckon Hitmans Team League could be close this Month ( TKP FTW ) & The New Scoring Format seems to work for us all (am pleased) Can it get any better (i hope so). Also good luck to all in Imbers Forum DTD Fantasy League some Great Prizes up for grab.And a Big Thanks to Chris (scouse_red) for doing the Spreadsheet (it's only taken 9 months to sort out a Formula so we can now copy & paste everything)     Good Luck to all DTDers that will be at Nottingham DTD this weekend would be Great if one of us Took it Down as there are 42 of us playing so far, i'm looking forward to having a Beer or 2    Michael
