Glad you've chosen bet sizing as a discussion topic tonight as it's something I've worked pretty hard on and consider to be a strength.

That said, you hear all sorts of talk about new strategies, ie. limping the button, 2.2x standard raising etc.  Some of which to me seem counter intuitive. 

For me, post flop betting in particular should be based on solid information and on maths.  If you've raised pre and been called and the flop comes 2 suited cards, that should effect you're bet sizing for your c-bet ie. a bet of 3/4 pot 'should' chase out flush draws etc.

For me Carlos advice - don't bet unless you understand what your bet means is critical.
