Currently going through bad bad variance......well shouldnt call it variance as there is no variety....last 7 losses = (4 x 2/1 fav) X (2x 4/1 fav) X (1x 19/1 fav)at god knows what odds..... Even Thewy was at it in the Primo ...he shoves for 18bb with A2 and I call with 77......you can guess the rest......Question.....when you are going through this kind of thing, why does everyone tell you that you need a break!....surely I am making the right decisions and therefore playing well.....Advice please

Mike, I had this last year for about 4 months lol, where no matter what happened you knew what the result was going to be! I did take a break as the constant losing does eventually take it's toll mentally. I had a rest for 3-4 weeks and found it refreshing (and my wife was pleased as all of the jobs that needed doing in the house got done). I always play for fun and when it wasn't i stopped. My wife is always asking if i enjoy playing and when you are winning the answer is easy. Rest or not? It really depends on how you feel and if the variance is starting to effect the decisions you make. Hope this helps adrian.
