Spoiler Alert. There's NO poker in this, none at all, & some of it is a bit heavy. I watched it earlier this week, & found some of it cringeworthy. I'm actually proud of the story, but not much of a fan of how I told it. As with most things in life, if I could do it again, I would do it better. The documentary, I mean, not my life. Hey-ho, the thing is done now, & I can't change it. I won't be anywhere near the TV, or the internet, tonight, trust me. Any questions, no problem, I'll deal with them over the weekend. Hope you all have a grand weekend. Posted by Tikay10
Watching the Duckumentary with my son Leo and he looks at Tikay, he looks at Rich and then says, "In 24 years time Rich could be Tikay." He then points at the screen and says, "Manbag!" Posted by Machka
Just a quick note Rich, Tikay will get lots of acclaim for the show tonight, and rightly so...but a good interview always needs a good interviewer n' u managed it, well done!

Thanks Penny, v kind, although imo it's 100% the Tikay Show and I'm happy for it to be exactly that.
I have always had a great admiration and dare I say affection for Tikay , albeit virtual as I have not as yet had the pleasure of meeting him In the real . So - was really looking forward to this 'duckumentary' and would like to say, It definitely didn't disappoint. What a fascinating being this gentleman Is. A brilliant No Frills account of his very Interesting and Inspirational journey through life to date kept me hoping that In the future there will be a part two! No doubt these posts will send Tikay Into cringeworthy embarassment mode as clearly modesty Is but one of his many attributes , however - I just like to say It as I see It. Thanks to all for a great bit of viewing. p.s And who better to take that wander through the Wetlands with Mr K than Rich. All jokes aside, the relationship there Is truly special. p.p.s. You scrubbed up well appearance wise Rich - hows the six pack progressing? X
Really enjoyed the show, what a genuinely nice guy Tikay is! My favourite moment had to be when Tikay was describing the Welsh arch he built, I laughed so much it hurt when he said "I knocked out the support, and it looked at me and collapsed."
Finally managed to get round to watching the program last night. Brilliant show. Tikay as honest and forth right as always. Richard, OMG he can actual interview ;o)
One of the things that stood out for me was the incident when the guy Tikay worked for wanted to close the company , wash away all the debts and reopen the next day. It is the measure of a man , how he acts during adversity. Guy owes me £30,000, comes up with a way I get my money back but it's at the detriment of others. There are not many people who would, without hesitation, tell him to get stuffed.
Tikay, you have always stood out for me as a top bloke, from the first time we met at the Alea in glasgow, till more recent times when I had the pleasure of working with you on Sky Poker. That opinion has been increased a 100 fold after watching that program.
I know you hate this sort of stuff, makes you cringe probably, but what the hell you're off to vegas so probably wont read it anyway.
I thoroughly enjoyed this programme. Well done & thanks to Rich, Tikay & Sky for putting it together.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for Tikay, and I always figured he had achieved great success in business (just reading between the lines, like), but the story was fascinating, very moving and extremely inspirational. And I do hope the recent accident at home was not too serious (only mentioned briefly) :-/ And get to Australia!
Fantastic pogramme, quite moving and desite the trials and tribulations suffered through his life, Tikay's ability to shrug off adversity and move onwards and upwards was quite uplifting and a little inspiring.

Could easily have been a 60 minute five part series and still have to skim some of the content.
Just one question.
Who was the bloke in the green shirt?
It was an insightful tv show and the hour and a half flew by.

Have a great holiday in LV!
