HI GUYS THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE, JIM HAS POSTED (BELOW) ON TPT THREAD TODAY AND AM SURE HE WOULD LIKE IT ON HERE TOO. Hi all, thankyou for your words, i have only nipped on reallly to say farewell as im preparing for a new chapter in my life- Ive had so some many people coming round that my head is bursting with it all. Apart from the likes of Flashjonny who I played many a game with and sometimes pokertrev, i did not know alotof you but your kind words are nice. I would like to say what ever you do in this life, enjoy it, Poker is a cruel game but you can enjoy if you treat it like a hobbie and a past time, never ever let it get a control of you in a different way & only spend what you can afford, many a time I spent hours at night playing poker and ending up with nothing when I could of been spending some quality time with my wife who was in the next room either watching telly or reading, what im trying to say is enjoy & I sincerly hope you all win one of those big ones- heres till the next time Regards & best wishes for the new year x Posted by spornybol
Hi Jim I only know you through the Forum and from reading your posts and I was concerned for your welfare. You are still in shock so please don't blame yourself for this terrible accident. These things are beyond our control and everyone at some point in their lives will lose a loved one close to them. I started to blame myself when my Mother suddenly passed away. I should have gone to see her more, I should have spent more time with her, all sorts of emotions rage in my head. They are all part of the grieving process which you have to go through to make sense of what has happened. Please don't blame yourself for playing poker, or give it up because you feel you should have given more time to your Family. You need your space we all do, and remember we are your extended family and care about you to. Christmas will not be the same for you this year for sure and you will need to be strong for the children's sake. My heart goes out to you as it wont be easy to try to enjoy opening presents without Mum there. I'm sure if you try to involve her in you every day conversations, as if she was still with you, and not just never speak of her for fear of upsetting everyone, then time will heal the hurt you feel at losing your dear wife. All the best from my Family Love and Hugs from me. Annie xxx
AM STILL UP AND THINKNG OF YOU JIM AND YOUR KIDS, I HOPE YOU AND FAMILY CAN FIND A LITTLE JOY DURING THESE SAD TIMES, ALL THE BEST RESPECT AND HOPE TO MEET YOU ONE DAY.
