Hi all

A quick update, I have been to see the GP, he has decided I need to go to hospital today for either a camera, or CT scan.

Don't know whether or not I will be out today.

I heard the camera they use these days isn't as big as it used to be.

The cameraman seems to have put a few pounds on since christmas though.

Hi guys, this is Alison, Barry's daughter.

Um i don't know how to say this, but Barry needs to have an operation. He has suspected bowel cancer, op is going to be today. We're waiting for a taxi now to go up now and see him.

Sorry to be the one to have to tell you guys.

HI guys

Thanks you for the kind words, i'll be sure to pass them onto Barry when I go up and see him again tomorrow.

The op he is having today is somewhat minor in the big picture. He's having a tube stuck up the rear to help in the short term. He will have to have the 'big op' at some given point. But doing it the way they are, gives a better chance of saving his bowl overall.

I'm sure Barry will be appreciative of all the support.
