    mines comes from the good old tendency to "lengthen" short names, hence mark=marcus,191 was my house number at the time!

    I knew I wanted to be a character and I wanted a fairly subtle one. I would also have liked something with a slight poker connection. So I decided on DocHolliday but alas, it was one character too long and I'm not one for spelling things wrong (intentionally). So JohnConnor it was, which I'm really happy with, tbh.

    PS. Great thread Lorraine loads of surprisingly interesting ones already, I think Maxally's works particularly well.

    I am not a doctor! My initials are D.R and my last name is Sharp! I tried a few other names and spent ages trying to get one accepted and this was the first one that got through and now i am stuck with it.

    The funny thing is, i have had one or two people ask me medical advice in the chat box in the early days.

    Mine should be Slykillist but I typed it wrong when I joined.

    It's a name I used to use on an online game that I wasted years of my life playing.

    Sly somehow became my nickname when I was at university.

    From the age of 15 I've raced on a bike at various different levels up to National Championship level

    So the name is a combination of the two with the kill bit supposed to be a bit menacing.

    It's actually quite a nice play on words if I just spell it right!

    mine has to 2 reasons 1 i am from dublin and 2 i love dub reggae so named myself after king tubby a classic dub reggae producer...........cool tunes go  and listen on youtube

    my surname is 'katsikas' so in school my nickname was 'sikas'

    pronounced 'Seek-us' but i guess it reads as 'Sick-As' which works out fine in the poker world

    Wacko as it described my style of play and personality. 90 was actually meant to be 92 (D.O.B), but i got it mixed with my log in details :/ so 90 actually means nothing :)

    just because its what i do.
    drove trucks now for 18 years, still enjoy it, and its taken me to some wierd and wonderful places.
    done the uk, europe, scandinavia, and even russia, i just like to travel and get payed for it.
    met some wierd and wonderful people along the way, and have some funny, sad, and unbelievable stories i could tell, but in alot of cases, people just wouldn't believe them.
    i suppose you had to kind of be there to get it.

     My Post in True Stories disappeared much like other posts I've made on this Forum.   sob sob is Paul Daniels a Mod  

      Well everyone so far has chosen  their Alias and found the mistakes they made cannot be corrected. When I joined Sky I sat for ages trying to get one excepted and log in.  My first mistake was asking Hubby to help the second was letting him enter it. You can see the stupid Alias name he gave me and my log in is even worse.  He thought it was soooo funny at the time entering all stupid names then deleting them only last time pressed enter instead and since is living to regret it.  Mmmm  Hell hath no fury like a woman's Scorn.?

    My comes from back when I got my first PC and hence the internet. I needed a username to setup a Yahoo account for the games and I had this pair of trackie bottoms with the brand name Dudeskin so went with that but with an 8 as Dudeskin had already been taken, I kept the 8 on here as a kind of superstition thing lol.

    I think they still sell the clothes but they're all in childrens sizes sadly :(
