no you've got me there. i'm afraid my playstation goes out the window when up against a pool party of ladies. however you don't see many of them in harrogate!  pool parties that is.... hmmm and ladies come to think of it

Yeah I got MW2 on pre-order - loved COD4 but hated the others.

I tend to stick to single player rather than online.

I hope you'll be tackling it on VETERAN? lol. I completed COD4 on Vet and it nearly killed me. So much stress! lol

Right now I'm playing GTA Gay Tony & will get this finished before MW2 arrives.

Definately yes. But the wife says I cannot get it just now as it is too close to Christmas. Neither me or my son are making any headway in changing her mind.

Worst is she is going to but it and then wrap it up and hide it so we cannot get to it. What sick logic is that?

Was out shopping with her today and kept pointing to it in the shops and explaining how great it was and how unfair it had to be kept until Christmas when everyone will be ranking up kills online. She looked at me blankly and walked on. 20 years together and I still don't get woman.

Nearly bought it on the fly but thought better of it as she would have grounded me. :-(

Same here! Ended up on 980/1000 points. I don't know how anyone can do MHC on Vet! I even saw videos of someone doing it with only a melee weapon (knife!). Unreal.

thought I had talked her around but no.  Still cannot read the female of the species.

So on christmas day, I will be in the living room with my new PS3 250gb playing Assassins Creed II, Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted 2, alternating with my son who will be playing upstairs. Decision to be made now is do I get two copies of Modern Warfare 2 so we can clan up? Possibly but he is far better than me and I might hold him back

For those who get it tomorrow. Enjoy, I am envious and look forward to playing you on line on PS3 network. I am bigmom0

I can't do that level either... also still need to complete two more levels on veteran, the one where you need to get to the LZ helicopter and the newsroom things one??! been long time since I last played...

Upto the 4th mission on MW2 ... just completed the airport level (3rd mission) that some may have seen in the news! Really enjoying it so far... Vet mode has been tough as expected but haven't hit a real anger stress moment yet. The 2nd mission in the blizzard is great fun

That newsroom/TV station bit was the first big challenge on COD4 Veteran mode. The trick is to enter the room and run to the right and take cover in the corner room (for a short time), then make another leg for it to the right from there when things quieten down. That way you get to where the enemy soldiers are spawning from - a small cutaway. If you stay in the main newsroom they just keep coming and coming forever and ever and ever....................

Brother-in-law got this today for £25 from Sains - for me the best is still Golden Eye on the N64, years were spent wasted on multi player on that.
