Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
My old laptop is pretty much running on life support and I'm looking at buying a new one.
Any tips in terms of RAM, hard drive, graphic card and chip? I've seen some comments with people having problems regarding CPU(?) which I know nothing about.
I'm comfortable playing at least 6 tables cash but current laptop starts to lag at any more than 4 with nothing else open.
Any advice appreciated.

Just found a HP, 6gb memory, 500gb hard drive with the i3 chip for £350.
Should that be up to the job or would something with the AMD or Pentium chip be better?
I'm not a massive fan of HP gear though. Does it tell you if it has it's own graphics or is it shared ?
It's got the right ammount of memory though and the hard drive is a decent size.
There's a fair choice in my price range with to be 4gb memory, 500gb hard drive. Is that enough? And do I take it from your post above that something with a specialist graphic would be an advantage?
I would say finding one with a dedicated graphic card with it's own memory would be better for playing poker.
I'll have a look around and see what's available for your price range and post them here.
