Great plug though, Channing is definitely one of the best and most entertaining guys that has been on.
it is testamont to ed that despite not being on the channel for a good while he is still named as pretty much the top analyst and i couldnt agree more. Great mixture of humour, knowledge and to the point analysis.
That said everybody has something to offer and they are all good in there own way, especially warmed to carlo who has improved massively (hes obviously always been a very good player i mean on the tv)
starting to get the chemistry with rich that ed had which is what made those shows
1. Trev...great manner 2. Tikay...."its a game to be enjoyed, remember that" 3. Scotty......may have been nervous at first but his analysis seems so clear to me. 4. Carlo.......just great fun and doesn't take himself seriously( mind u can't with that tan..lol) 5. Best guest Simon Trumper's thoughts were just so spot on looking at hands and really made the decisions to be made obvious.(not to mention the scream as Tikay tried to mime a snooker player and neary got Sky thrown off air...great telly. Watch a replay if you can!) Thats the sign of a good analyst...one who's thoughts resonate with your demeanour and play.
PS I do like to listen to John Hartigan and Rich is a great link man as well as making sense too. The other night when John was being analysed by Carlo was good fun and for my level it was good to hear his thoughts as a relatively inexperienced player. This could be the germ of an idea. Ask less-experienced members for their thoughts on a selection of their hands and plays then have an expert analyse their play. I'd certainly watch and so would many less high level players.
Rutter Worst has to be 'Scotty77'. He genuinely thinks he is famous now, when really he is just a massive fish. Oh and his interviewing technique is awful... Posted by pryce6
