    My finest achievement in poker so far? I have two I am very proud of....

    1) Bluffing Katja Thater on an A-K-K flop with 2-3 offsuit. I did a check-raise shove thing and she didn't like it when I showed the bluff. Germans don't like being bluffed by scrawny Englishmen.

    2) Doing a four-hour live show with Sarah :) I am yet to do one with Tikay, which I would consider the pinnacle of my poker CV, obviously.

    Hey Shaun,

    I don't think it's a case of finding a clique at all - I think Sporny's initial comments were meant to be light-hearted and Claire accepted it that way. Your reply was just a bit startling in the middle of the thread and I think it made a couple of people want to relax any tension.

    You're always welcome to post on the forum and please do keep doing so :)

    Right, let's get this thread back to the fun stuff, namely tonight's show. Have you lot ever bluffed any Germans? I know a man who has.... *ahem*.

    I've got a question for James Dempsey....

    You've pulled off some amazing achievements in your poker career and I am sure the swelling of personal pride really peaks when you think about that victory on the biggest of stages. The bright lights of the televised stage, the support you had from the Brits around you.... it must have been quite special.

    So, can you tell us what it was like crippling Tony Kendall at the SPT Brighton?

    Questions for Mr Dempsey please.

    1) Any funny Tikay stories?

    2) Do you think that if people have a style that works for them in Holdem that it's good to transfer that style to Omaha? Or do you think you need to play a different style?

    3) What style of play would you advocate for Omaha?

    handling donkbets!! :(
    say i reraise villain on the button with AK and he calls.............flop comes down 258 rainbow villian donkbets the min.......now what???
    i feel calling the bet shows weakness in our hand?
    i find myself reraising halfpot to 2/3rds to try and see where im really at then struggling to decide if i should barrel or check 
    any advice or tips on the deadly donk bet would be appreciated

    Have a great show all.  My best poker moment was winning the Monday forum DTD in January.  An amazing tourny which, I believe, is the only tournament in the world that has never been won by Julian Thew.

    PLO Cash question for James.

    When 200+ Big Blind effective I have no preflop 4bet range, unless against an absolute maniac.  Is this a mistake?

    Hi again guys.

    Just wanted to say thank you for the replys to my questions.

    Part of the reason i am trying to play more tables straight from the getgo is because of trying to clear the rather generous £1000 new player bonus that i recieved when joining sky the other day.

    I have 30 days to get 15,000 points to clear that offer and also would achieve the 10,000 needed to get into the priority club while doing it which would be pretty good in my first month of playing on sky :)

    Ive always had the problem of trying to walk before i could crawl hence why i asked about the limits i have started at but the answer you gave to that question was kinda the one i was wanting to here.

    Missed tonight's Open registration by about 10 seconds, and was so engrossed in the live show that I forgot to register for the Super Roller satellite too -_- So any news on if/when late reg will be available on Sky?

    Hi again.

    Just heard Tikay say one of the players names ( Nashwan )  is the name of a famous racehorse.

    Just incase he didnt know but i am sure he prob does that the screen alias i chose is also the name of a famous racehorse from the early 90s ARAZI, and incase he didnt know can you ask him when he gets the time to go onto youtube and take a look at ARAZIs victory in the breeders cup juvenile of 1991.

    Without doubt one of the best performances from any racehorse EVER !

    In a live game not on line If Tikay hasn't looked at his cards and he is sitting on the button in an unraised pot.
    What are his thoughts about raising without looking at his cards.
    Is it a good move or bad move?

    C-BET OR NO C-BET that is the question??? I know i hit but hated the flop with the callers and the stack sizes?

    Good evening Sarah, you're looking as lovely as ever.

    Hearing Tikay speak earlier about what he would do with a World Series bracelet, I have to ask why he doesn't give it a go? If he fancied playing one of the many, many, many $1k events he should get in touch as I'd happily take 10% of his action. I'm sure lots of folk would give him their backing.

    I'd also like to say that those people complaining about the show probably don't dislike everything. I really like the new shows but I'd be a bit of a weirdo if I liked everything about them. I'm watching again tonight... as always.
