Anyone else experiencing Super Lag on Grand National Freeroll?

I have missed my hand and been sat-out and the lag is that severe that I click the 'I'm Back' button but it is still running so slow that it is auto-folding every hand. Why?

Absolutely ridiculous. Unplayable and unwatchable. Why have a tourney with 2,000 players when the software crashed with 900 in a Bounty Hunter before. It just can't handle the volume. Waste of time being in it. Some players have been able to click raise occasionally and it just plays the hand before the screen develops.

I'm having a lot of lag, not quite as bad as OP but bad enough that I cba to play properly and I'm just going all in with any half decent starting hand until it stops (hopefully when the field is down to a reasonable size). Won a flip already so it's going to plan, lol.

Sky need to stop having tournaments with 2k runners until the software can cope with it. Every time there's a big field, there's always issues - Thought they would've learned from the UKOPS BH, clearly not. Think fields should be limited to 700 or so - every time I've seen a bigger field than that, there's always been problems.

laggy??? its not even letting me on the table

It had eased a little long enough for me to click all in.lol. Doubled up so gonna sit out for a while and see if it improves when the field thins out a little.

I've had to close the table as it was making the Lobby lag too and I am bought into the Main Event Open Rebuy. I hope this doesn't effect that as it is acceptable in a freeroll but not in a Tourney that I have spent my 'Hard earned' on.lol. Why not split these High Player Field Tourneys into 3 tournies and the winners go into a later one the next day.

It closes the table then respawns immediately. I don't want it open when my proper tourney starts!

Moved to Community Help & Advice where people aren't going to see the thread. C'mon Sky, stop hiding from the truth and admit there's problems with your software.

20 minute cue on live chat and now I'm through to her she says they are experiencing NO problems and that I am the first to complain. What a joke. Then Sky have the cheek to move the thread to the back of beyond so no-one sees it. This is the worst experience I've had in a long time from Sky. Annoyed and disappointed!

Lmao @ "No problems". Just wow.

Sky's Customer Care should get the sack, each and every one of them. Probably goes some way towards explaining why people complain on the forum and flood the "Ask Tikay" thread with things which are supposed to be addressed to CC - Because CC are incapable of dealing with anything themselves.

Customer Care have also got into the habit of lying to customers, which I've pulled them up on a fair few times and they just say "Sorry", then still let it happen again. Takes the pee tbh.

20 minutes to get through at 8pm at night and she says they are having no problems and I am the first to complain? Get out of here, she must be having a laugh! Why would there be a 20 minute cue if no-one was complaining? Then she has the cheek to close the conversation! Its a joke how they treat customers and if Sky thinks it can grow then it needs to find a new call centre and new call centre staff. They are sullying their product by bad Customer service. I'd also like to know which Moderator saw fit to move the thread in a blatant attempt to hide the problem! Moderators are accountable too and should put a reason on the thread when moving it or closing it.

+1 to the bold bit, I'm an admin on a non-poker forum elsewhere, and when closing a thread, posting to say why the thread was locked and PM'ing the OP is standard procedure. (with the exception of spam bots selling Viagra, lol)

Also goes down a lot better with forum users than just locking a thread and offering no explanation. Just sayin'...

If I ever lock a thread, or move it for that matter I would state why, unless it's blatantly obvious.
