let's see: tonight - taking my son to his cricket practice, hang around for 2 hours, come back, play poker (hopefully) tomorrow - take son and daughter (with wife) to swimming lessons, hang around for an hour, then take them all to local farm for "grow your own" fun and games (not sure what we're growing!?). Then take son to footie match he's playing in, hang around for couple of hours. Home. Sunday - take son to rugby practice, hang around for a couple of hours (deja vu?), afternoon - not sure at moment, may find a dark room for a lie down!
Basically I am a taxi for the family and spend the rest of the time standing around freezing my .... off! Love it!! LOL
Tonight - Have a reservation booked in front room with my son, a curry, a few cans of tetleys and a film, probably I-Robot. Tomorrow - Play a bit of poker whilst listening to talksport in afternoon, off to local in the evening with friends for a night of drinks and frolics. Sunday - Garden centre visit with daughter to stock up my green-house, watch the mighty VILLA move another step closer to the championship, how did it all go soooo wrong soooooo quickly, play some poker.
I'm back up to Liverpool this weekend to see my daughter who lives with her mum (my ex) which I do most weekends.
Got the big merseyside derby in the FA cup to look forward to tomorrow (I'm a blue). I fancied ourselves to win anyway with the form we're in, and the terrible form Liverpool are in, and it just makes it a bit nicer that not only have they got their 1st team goalie suspended, they've also managed to get their sub goalie suspended too. Always nice to see a team show such good sportsmanship on the field!
Aintree, Aintree and more Aintree for me. Oh, its also my Dads 50th Birthday tomorrow so I will be watching the 'Not so Mighty' Villa playing Man Utd. Maybe they can reward my Dads many years of Season tickets and travelling all over the country/Europe with a win against our bogey team and in the process reopen the title race. We can dream eh? Best wishes. Shaun the Villa fan in Bham
Saturday - Early morning fishing contest in worcester, bit of a trek so early start.
Saturday afternoon - tell the missus how many got away, shower and then a nice relaxing evening of poker on sky.
Sunday - Full English Breakfast, morning paper review, then it's off to the pub at midday for some refreshments and a game of darts (Not sure how refreshing 10 pints is tbh) I don't usually remember lol. Sunday afternoon nap, then a couple of Deepstacks and timed tournies to get me through the evening.
my weekend consist shoppping tonite for beers when the old dear`s can`t run me over with the shopping trolleys as they should be tucked up at home, then get rid of wife an kids tomorrow morning for the day so i can watch LIVERPPOL BEATTHE BLUES in the semi ( FA CUP FINAL HERE WE COME ).
Hopefully, I'll be settled down cheering Everton on in their FA cup semi v the old foe. No prediction except a couple of Suarez 'the swallow' dives followed by some rolls, foreign swearing and arms outspread in mock surprise. Let's hope he's learned to shake hands and Dalgliesh sees it this time,eh. Great role models footballers! Pity...
saints vs reading on tv, poker. tea and choccy 2nite. shopping with daughter(groan), sport on tv, tea and choccy again. Skyrim, poker, sport, 865, tea and choccy!
Well usually at this time of the year on the Saturday it's been Destination Aintree for little old me for the last 6 years on the bounce but this year all my racing cohorts and associates have wanted to give it a miss this year and I didn't want to go on my own so Plan B is a trip to "fortress" Aigburth to see the mighty Lancashire erm how do I word this.............. turn up against Sussex for 2 days and hope for the best *sigh*.
I'm spending the weekend with a wrinkled little person who screams and cries, needs constant attention and needs his nappy changing every 2 or 3 hours.
But enough about working with Tikay on Sunday, I'm also spending the weekend with my 2-week-old baby son.
