in my need of a new monitor with a budget of around £100. Current monitor has a very small resolution (1024/768) which isnt ideal for poker, and the old one i had, did have a better resolution but the screen is too dark.
As a result, im looking for something with a decent res and decent colour quality.

thanks for the offer paige, being honest ive always had second hand monitors, and the two i have 1 has lasted 4 years and basically going and the other one i got just after christmas when a family member got a full new system and it just doesnt meet the requirements i need.
At the present i have a little money saved and feel buying a brand new monitor to last a while is the route to go down at present.

The only negative I see with this monitor it that the only input it has is a VGA connector.
This is a old connector type, although still supported and useable on all laptops and PC's.
You're just limiting yourself by getting one without a DVI (or HDMI) input.

Your second option is decent, beaneh's suggestion is a better monitor.
Just make sure it's 21.5" or above and 1920 x 1080 resolution from a brand you have heard of.
