IPAD FREEROLL - let down by sky
I entered this freeroll on the laast bank holiday. 400 or so runners. Top 5 win an ipad. Finished in top 5 and was told "congratulations you have won an ipad." I then received an email confirming that I just needed to phone sky to confirm my address. I did this and now was told by sky marketing "non no you were only entered into a prize draw, and you havent been successful." banging my head against a wall.
spoke to somebody at sky who confirmed it was going to be delivered; then get an email repeating the above and basicaslly fobbing me off!
been on this site since the beginning. any other freeroll winners get their ipad?
i feelutterly let down by sky.

i won a plasma tv on wille hill and it took 4 months!(blatent brag!)
It's crystal clear that all 5 winners should be getting an iPad each, when Sky sort it out I'm sure they'll get them.
I think the prizedraw response was an honest error, there are tons of ipad giveaways across Sky at the moment, plenty on SkyPoker as well.
If I was you I would contact live chat now looking for a delivery date and if they can't give me a date then I'd want a reason why. I would also make sure that I copied and pasted the whole chat log into a word document to put in a follow up email if I felt it was necessary.
If they pass responsibility (which may very well be the correct thing for them to do) I would be looking for contact name, contact telephone number, hours to call and contact email. Essentially I wouldn't get off live chat until I had the correct routes to progress.
Personally I think it's an innocent oversight and that we shouldn't all get into a lather about it at this stage. I hope you get your ipad soon, they rock. And if you ever beat my Temple Run score I regret giving you advice
