Have you tried clearing your caches and cookies?  This has worked for me.

I always see these threads and I'm not saying that people are lying, I'm sure it's actually happening to these people but I think there must be something else at play, probably at the customer end (even if that's not what people wanna hear). My laptop is pretty rubbish, certainly nothing fancy, my internet connection aint that great and I play 6tables of cash on the download without the tiniest bit of lag ever.

it cant all be at our end...cash seems to be different most probably because it is a single table i dont play cash much but have had no probs either..........but in mtt's i am always sat out for the 1st few hands while the table loads......then quite often i get frozen for 10/20 seconds every few hands....then as happened last night i got to see my cards but got timed out before i could act....so i was sat there being folded then pressing the im back button every hand........so frustrating i tell ya!

sorry to hear that dave, i get frustrated when you move tables and you cant see your hand.  Only by clossing the table you can see it again

yea that also happens now and again..while not a massive deal when you look back a hh you always seem to have a good hand..:(

While i have had this lag problem now and again over the years it used to lag once in a whlie for maybe 10/20 mins but now it happens a lot and i can not even play the game i paid for..

obviously just a whinge from me and i will keep on playing and just hope it rights itself...if not i will just take a break and try again later

I can run 7-10 tables fine with no lag and no problems at all. But I do have a very high spec pc.

BUT, every once in a while the whole sky poker client does crash for me. This is SOOOOOO annoying when you have 10 tables open especially when it takes ages to get them all back open and repositioned and you have to choose your preferred seat again. Not even mentioning if youve been forced to fold a set in a big pot!!!.

To demonstrate how much resources the sky poker client used, I just did a quick test. I opened 9 tables in the sky poker client and just let them sit there for 15 minutes.
Client started using 580,000k memory but just kept rising to 720,000k. I guess it would have just kept rising.
I did the same test on the pokerstars client. Its stayed on 80,000k. Skys using nearly ten times the resourses, so no wonder it troubles lower spec machines. Not only this but pokerstars offer a million times more features, customization and options.

Anyway I wont be playing on sky poker for a while, sick of the buggy, boring, featureless client.

mine is not as bad as you guys seem to be. but ever since the update i have had a problem logging on. i don't get many disconnections while playing. i only play 3 max thou, but i see loads of red lines from other players. that would do my head in.
