Hobbies outside of poker?

I was wondering what we all like to do besides poker?

I myself am in a band. I'm also a huge Man United fan (born and bred in Salford, now living in Essex) and love playing footy.


Have a pic of me playing live from this past Jubilee Monday and i'm also putting that picture up so people will stop flaming me for being 'fat' in the chat box - i chose the fatman avatar because i like it - i'm not actually fat!


Also - I am actually 25. I know i look about 14 but i'm old enough to play on here i swear!




This thread could fail but i'm bored so why not!

    Not a bad idea at all mate.

    I like to read, listen to music, play chess and go the gym (although I aint been for a while).

    I used to play guitar, played for about 6 years, but aint touched one for a couple of years now.

    I started off on guitar but i'm one who has to practice all the time to maintain my skill level. I'm pretty good at it but i'm more a jack of all and master of none now - i play drums, piano, guitar and bass and i also self-engineer a lot of our bands tracks. I love playing live to a big crowd but i think i'd rather play football. To me that's the greatest thing on the planet. Especially since i gave up smoking and can now run without dying.

    I got scouted for Arsenal when i was younger but unfortunately they never followed it up so i couldn't have been that good!

    Also, i LOVE bikes. I hated them and called them death traps, but then my ex (who'd ridden bikes all her life....funny cause now she is one) made me do my CBT and i fell in love. Sold my R6 to go to uni and have regretted it ever since!

    I used to do football coaching but didnt like the situation for reasons so dont any more. Looking to go back into it though.

    Outwith that my only major hooby is Gaming. But i love to watch football (Rangers through and through) and F1. Documentaries on certain subjects are also greatly enjoyable imo.

    ^ the guitarist in my band is like 20 and he loves fishing. Fishing and death metal haha. Strange combo. My Dad likes fishing but i've never quite gotten into it.

    Season ticket holder at Fulham!!

    Have followed ma Lillywhites ALL over Europe in Intertoto, UEFA, Europa League & friendly pre-seasons, I reckon about 20 venues from Shacktar Donestk, Ukraine across Europe, Austria, Lithuania, Switzerland, Belguim, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Germany up to Livingston in Scotland!!

    Now I play Poker so dont go away so much!!

    As a Senior Amatuer,  who captained the AFA,  I played myself in tournaments in Rio, Buenos Aires, Cape town, Las Vegas, the first ever Hong kong Sevens footie tournie, [17ish years ago] & toured many european venues!!

    My poker ambition is to travel like this,  playing Big poker tournies, LOL, SPT's being a start point!! Hopefully!

    I also love a beer, & more latley wine!

    I was very succesful at getting maself into lots of trouble when younger, tho this is a hobby I have tried, with some success to give up, thanks to Mrs Hitwife & Hitpup mainly!!

    O yeah, I love monopoly too, LOLOL!!

    hi

    besides poker my outside hobbies is listening to music and i do cross stitching and i like films and tv mainly soaps and also like looking after my partner the_don90.


    im also an animal lover as i use to work in an animal reascue centre and i enjoyed tht but the place is now shut down :(

    i like playng pool used to be very good player now just play for fun won enuff trophys  i also like playing golf and tennis love my music listening to music most of the day

    Haha the one i have is actually back in the days when we where spending £12mil on Torre Andre Flo so standard rules.

    Although i have tested a game where you start with no money with a mate took us 3 hours.

     I know you Scottish Boys love that, I was a champ in ma schooldays in Sheperds Bush, funny enough the other Great player at ma school, Jet, Had not seen for nearly 30 years, then went in to play cash at Grosvenor Vic, as I was passing with a few spare hours, & Guess.... yup bumped into him, spose it was in tha blood from an early age, 11 LOL!!
