    I really enjot this thread but you really can afford to be playing £5 buy ins with a roll of less than 100 -120 quid it may work for a few weeks but just one day will ruin it! As stated above play on a min of 20 buy ins preferably more! gl

    Hi i know your right in what your saying about buyins, and bank roll. But in my defence, i really struggle at lower levels as people seem to call with very light hands and get lucky. 
    I will keep playing £5.50 and £3.30 unless my Br drops below £40 then i will have a rethink.
    Anyway im off to my local where they have a poker game every 1st sat of the month, £20 buy in no rake usually about 15 players, ive played it 4 times won twice and 3rd once.
    Now the problem comes, this is a poker comp so has to come from my poker account, so if i dont cash i will draw out £20 to cover it.

    Well went to pub and only 5 people to play the tournie so, £20 each buy in £70 for 1st place £30 for 2nd place.
    And guess who came home with £70 in his pocket, yes the arce..........Now if i lost i had to take £20 from me poker account to pay for it, but i won so you would think thats £50 profit for me, noooooo thats not how it works!!!! i get to use the cash to buy a take out tonight for the family. Hmmmmmmm not helping me Las Vegas fund at all.

    no not big family, just finished Chinese take out cost £30, after drinks and entrance fee and take out im left with £30. will keep this seperate, and it will pay my buy in and drinks for next months tournie....

    Thanks Dev still not running well.
    Was playing mini Bh tonight Had AA board AQ4 Turn 4 river 7 so full house AAA44 GaryQQQ 4444 just the way its going atm online.

    Hi im not really moving up or down, just played euro freeroll, im doing ok and top 20, with around 20000 chips, two fold 3rd guy goes all in for 8000ish chips chip leader calls he has around 26000 chips, i push for the lot, holding  KK, chip leader calls and all cards on their backs, player 1 has AQ, chip leader has JJ then me with KK J on flop and im out........ cashed for £3.75, but would have been 1st if KK had held. ( 2 hours later cash still not in my account)

    Anyway br stands at £52.44 (with £3.75 still owed to me for freeroll winnings).

    Im playing £5.50 and £3.30 as i feel the rake at levels below this make it unplayable.

    Will try harder now.

    Went to Barcelona last month, Daughters boyfriend is Spanish, wont be going there. Vegas is where i want to go.

    No you didnt jinx it, was a combination af bad play with some bad beats, plus playing above my roll. Stiil ive had a lesson in bankroll management..

    Dev im just not as patient as you mate. always playing above me roll and trying to get there to fast.

    Still was playing with me winnings for May (when i did run good and was up over a grand that month, and didnt blow that took £1100 out) im still playing with that money, so its not all bad just gonna put some money in and play for fun now.
