Yes i agree definately need to see better tournaments on here there is only 1 tournament worth playing each night unless the £110 bounty hunter or the £110 sky roller is on aswell on the same night
Yep Claire what ur saying is 100% right. Sky poker love people like you who are prepared to throw their income away for realistically no long term rewards

A £10 deposit is a small price to pay for the weeks of play I can get from it with the bonus of a small chance of winning a decent amount. I spend £2 a week for a lottery ticket that has almost zero chance of winning but I and others still spend it.
Now on sky I can't play for weeks off a tenner so I'm put off depositing, sort that out sky and you will have many more players.
Sky also needs to do something quickly because from what I've heard a huge social networking site is about to introduce real money games, that surely must be bad news for sky.
In Response to Re: Bigger Tournaments needed on sky poker : Surely if you have the bankroll to enter all tournaments What good is a two day online tournament? I know you're one of the top players on the site and have a proven, winning track record. Surely, to commit yourself to a two day tournament when you know the field is not going to be large enough to compensate the potential winnings you could be making on the cash tables is a backward step? Higher value one day tournaments or a progressive tournament based on performance over say a month where the bulk of the tariff goes towards a monthly final table for all the top performers I can understand, but I just can't get my head round how you expect to get value from a two day tournament which realistically is unlikely to get more than a couple of hundred runners at best. I base my comment on bankrolls and time commitment. Am I missing the point? or are there significantly greater numbers in a position to enter such a tournament? Posted by cleansweep
Pat Walshh 'TOP PLAYER!!'
I thought you were making some good points but then realised they were just the ramblings of a madman after that!
Re: Bigger Tournaments needed on sky poker posted at 11/8/2012 10:45 PM BST on SkyPoker.com Points Accepted!! but...........you never know till you try!! If It is promoted like the UKOPS, I think it would work, prob a 2/day 5/6 hours/nite type structure!! I'd be interested, imagine the interest from Sky players old/new for a £220 BI over 2 days 50/100+ runners perhaps, could be 25K + prize pool !! maybe doubled with a MINI£10/20 BI, with 200/300+ runners !! Anyway just thoughts..... Re: Bigger Tournaments needed on sky poker posted at 11/8/2012 10:49 PM BST on SkyPoker.com Actually.....the more I think of it ..... This could be The Highlite of The NEXT UKOPS!! but then again sanity left the Hitman building long ago!! Priceless........nice one Leader....lol Posted by Maggiesdad
In Response to Bigger Tournaments needed on sky poker : Morning Mr Due. You make some fair points there. The Bigger Tournaments will come, over time, but it is a gradual process, it would not work if it happened overnight. Incidentally, given that you & others on this thread think there needs to be BIGGER Tourneys on Sky Poker, you may wish to take a look at the thread HERE in which many players complain that there needs to be SMALLER Tourneys on Sky Poker. Yes i understand that tikay, it is just a bit frustrating. What ever happened to the 8k roller on a sunday? i know thats been gone ages now was that one not hitting the gtd?
Although I would also like to know why the cheap late deep stacks been unsuccessfully replaced by a 5.50 and the 1am BH is now also a 5.75 instead of 2.30...
On another site theres one called the Wild West where for 50c or so you can buy 1000 chips at start,, and buy as many 1000 chips as you like,, with an add on also later on,, this leads to pools of a few K, and its not one of the larger sites. Of course the more you have the more you can bully, but it also means that a low stakes player can get a realistic go relatively cheaply at a better prize than a 20 quid GTD for a quid for instance.
Ii think if the site wants to grow you should make bigger of the fact that trackers dont work on the site and promote as a tracker free site theres plenty of players i speak to who dont agree with them and newbies would see it as a way of avoiding sharks n Response to Re: Bigger Tournaments needed on sky poker:
