    It doesn't actually, now The Refurbed Grosvenor Cardroom is a bit small and Les Croups signalled that they were not so keen on hosting us, going forward (down to resourcing and their costs, not down to a dislike of Sky Poker) So, it can be trickier than it seems....

    really? the card room manager was telling everyone how pleased with how the spt went the folowing weekend even going as far as saying it was the most profitible weekend the casino has had since they moved location and they where looking forward to 2013 date

    Having worked for 2 major poker leagues and jointly owned one the only charge the casino ever made was if you wanted it dealer dealt they would host and lay on food without charge so I do not understand the cost coming into it for a Scottish leg.

    I would think it will be the other side of Xmas now

    Some plans changed, and all will become clear

    Rest assured that no event will be at short notice and everyone will have plenty of opportunity to make their plans, book time off, make cheap advance bookings etc

    joesman1: You should also realise that SPT Cardiff has also been removed, Sky Poker England and Dublin Tour!!!!!! Why not at least have 1 event in Scotland and 1 in Wales?

    cmon sky i know as u have said that some things have changed as u have said above but if there is goin to be a spt in feb we need to know asap just as colin has stated people like myself cant swan off last minute without getting cover at work .

    It's good to know you look forward to these SPT's.

    Apologies for the delay, but we are changing some things this year, & we will let you know just as soon as everything is signed & sealed.

    To a degree, it is "with others" but, fingers crossed, there may be some news in the next few days.  As you will infer from this, it is quite complicated. If we can broker the arrangements we are trying for, it will be worth the wait, imo.

    As always, there will always be plenty of notice for SPT's. All things considered, I very much doubt there wil be an SPT in February now.

    Your patience & understanding is appreciated.
