Thats a blatant brag as you know you are auto registered into this weeks competition.

But you of everybody has set the bar really high & you are going to find it a very tough title to retain.

New day, New week & the start of another Afternoon league. the inaugaral week was pretty awesome, ending in a wonderfully tense finish. Not sure how it can be topped, just glad I don't have to write the script for this weeks!!

Hopefully as more people join in the fun, the banter will only get better. Really looking forward to another great weeks competition so see as many of you as possible at 2:20 for the £2.20 Deep stack.

But please dont forget scouse_reds part in this. 

If you are going for the win this week rather than the wooden spoon then the scriptwriter's at least will have something to play with.

Sorry guys,

Monday's tournament was cancelled due to Sky being unable to cope with the extra interest this League has generated. 

I take full responsibility for the site crashing & will take any punishment deemed appropriate.

Hopefully we can start this weeks League from Tuesday & for this week it will be the best 3 scores from 6 to count for everybody.

See you all tomorrow, but have a really enjoyable DTD tonight.

I was contemplating not logging in to Sky poker until 2:19 just in case I broke it again........

Not a fan of deepstacks, a bit on the slow side for me, so decided to have fun. Certainly got it at a lively table; got a couple of cheeky bluffs through with air, made an easy fold with my pocket KK on the turn in a 3-way pot, eventually got my come-uppance when my second real hand (pocket QQ) was outdrawn. Good luck to those who were on my table.

good game today ran probably the best i have in a tournament there was a 20min stretch where i didnt miss a flop in a hand i played. 3rd in the end but enjoyed the run good wonder if it will last when i head back to cash

Finally week 2 got underway & we had 50 runners for todays deepstack, with 30 registered players taking part. Once again a cracking afternoon's poker with MRBURNS4 leading the way in his attempt for the wooden spoon. Mr consistent Profman15 could only manage 30th today but I'm sure that Sue will make sure that was a temporary blip ( even if she has to play herself tomorrow) Bear_Proof continued his fine run to make it to a very strong looking final table, but congratulations to the debutant Chubbers who took the honours with top spot.

I will gloss over my customary early week performance, but as I won't be around for the start of tomorrows event I will have to pull my finger out in the remaining 4 days.

Hope everyone is enjoying this as much as myself.

Another day, and I am gutted i won't be around for the start of today's competition. 

There are obviously still people playing the 2:20 Deep Stack who are unaware that the league exists, so if you come accross anyone  who you think plays it regularly please pass the word.

I will be along later to see the end, but have a good day's poker all & be lucky.
