(Sarah, here's the link to the forum page for the SPT leaderboard thingy-mi-bob.
...and here's the link to the tournament lobby.)

    Good evening Sarah and Redmond.

My most significant poker win isn't my biggest cash. It was my first ever live tournament. I got heads-up with a very nice chip lead and when my opponent got himself back to 3:2, he offered me a very fair deal. I declined solely because it was my first ever tournament and if I won, I could brag about it for the rest of my days.

So, here's my brag: I won my first ever live tournament; a 44 runner, £25 headhunter (as it was called) for a combined prize of £365.

Away from poker I really am a good-for-nothing loser and have absolutely nothing to brag about. lol

    Enjoy the show. :)

I,ve had a cpl of slightly bigger wins but my proudest and most memorable was the old TSP classic where i satelited in for £2.20 and took it down for £425. The reason it was so memorable is that it was filmed on one of the half hour shows by Rich and Ed where the biggest compliment came when i was compared to the Engalnd Cricket team when they were no.1 in the world at the time, by playing with so much confidence (makes me laugh now)
but i,ve kept it on Sky + and its a great motivator to watch again before i play some sessions

also knocked out Orford out along the way which made all the sweeter

    Paul

    Have a good show

Hey sarah and Redmond. My biggest and only real brag i can say is when i came 6th in a football freeroll(think it was When england was playing).

The prizes went down to 10th place, but 6th was the prize "Tikay for the night" Couldnt believe it when i got knocked out! We all thought it was a joke!

Any way, I was pretty new to poker and asked if they could swap it for entry into the a Thursday Night Bounty Hunter, Sky Adam Sent me as message saying it was ok and to Take it Down, Which i just happend to for £1800, Couldnt sleep that night! What a night for me!

    Have a great show

hello Sarah and red, my biggest poker win was on here a few weeks ago, it was the week end of spt nottm, I thought there may be a wee bit of value in the Sunday night primo, lucky enough I sated in for £12 and manage to get runner up for £1700. being a low stakes player this was like wining the lotto,  withdraw a few bob bills etc, but left a bit in to help my br. since winning that iv been on a bad run, has red found this when he wins a few pound ?. have fun.

Hi guys i'm a new SkyPoker player and loving the experience so far.

My biggest win was £800 for 1st in my local casinos £30 freezeout. I was down to 3bbs at the first break aswell!
On the final table I was offered a very fair chop with 5 players left as all the chips were pretty much even, one guy declined he said "ill take 1st you lot can split the rest".

So when he offered me a chop heads up it was never happening. Justice was done when I completely destroyed him heads up!

Followed that result up with a £400 cash in the same tournament a week later!

    All the best

    Hi Sarah and Redmond.

One of my greatest victories has to be me versus a cherry stone. I work In a primary school and had to tackle a choking Incident which happily I won! The six year old boy was fine afterwards and I felt like a million dollars!

    Have a great show both.

    p.s Redmond , i love your laugh.

    Hi Sarah and redmond,
My6 biggest win was when I won free entry into a Riley's poker tournament at Star City Birmingham via a league system at the local club. I went on to win the 180 man tournament for £5k, for my biggest ever win, in front of a crowd of abt 30 ppl. Was very nice and at one stage i was down to less than 1 big blind.

    Hi Sarah and Redmond,
My biggest win occured in Vegas but at the same time my most expensive. I won my wifes hand in marriage but with two words'I do' effectively gave came out worth half what I was worth before I went in.(would've been cheaper to have gone to the casino) 9 years later it hasn't got any cheaper (house,mortgage,2 kids) but it's been worth every penny. In poker terms,'I do' is a -EV call, money wise!!!lol

My biggest win was in quiz show on Channel 5 The main host was the beautiful Esther McVey and the quiz master Steve Allen

It was pretty similar format to Going for Gold

I had to win a daily heat followed by a weekly final

I have to say I found it hard to keep a straight face when they interviewed my main opponent who's specialist hobby was collecting airline sick bags.

I don't know how I did it but I won the final in a record number of questions. I'm pretty sure that the three viewers (Channel 5's average viewing figures at the time) stayed awake for at least two minutes of this compelling show.

I'm not saying my appearance had anything to do with it but 5's company ended shortly afterwards

Hi there you two.  Loving the show and Reds analysis is spot on as always.  There has only been one time when I have ever limped and that was when I was learning to walk again after having two tumors removed from my spinal cord.  Coincidently, learning to walk again was my biggest ever win in life.

My biggest ever poker win has been taking down Monday nights main event twice in six months.  The last time was a freebie for coming third in a side event at the SPT Grand Final.

Will Reds be playing in the 6max next month?

    Good luck to all tonight

Driving back from Banja Luka in Bosnia to Split in Croatia in a convoy in Jan 97 a Landrover and trailer slid off road into marked minefield on route Albatross in the mountains with 2 mates in it, i cleared a route for 2 hours using bayonet, fingers and eyeballs to vehicle to get Sparky and Big Ian out of vehicle to safety, cleared path then to rear of vehicle to a fix winch, dragged vehicle back to road with only one mine exploding, job done, no dramas. I now a firefighter and paramedic, last year called to 7 yr old girl fell from restaurant window and had massive head trauma, stabalised her and brought her to resus in nearest childs hospital, aided trauma team to stabalise further then volunteeered to drive her to childrens Neuro dept across city, luckily had police escort to get us there quicker, parents followed in cop car, 2 colleagues in rear assiting trauma team travelling with us, she stopped breathing twice on route but guys managed to get her back, arrived Neuro and handed over to specialists giving them as much info as poss, parents turned up behind me during hand over and tapped me on shoulder " would it be ok if we kissed her goodbye" they asked, I turned around and pushed Neurosurgeons and countrys top specialists out of the way telling them to shut the f up and discuss thier next step off to the side, I brought parents over, the most emotional thing I have ever seen in my life, me and my 2 toughy firefighter mates reduced to tears, anyway Molly made it through the night after brain surgery but had sustained brain damage and her quality of life was not expected to be great. Something we never do in our job is check on patients or fire victims we deal with as bad news aint good news, but, me Dan and Aido kept checking with the Hospital on her progress, a month later she had fully recovered except for her sight which was gone. Over joyed to say the least, then after a trip to US and 3-4 months later her sight came back too. Parents came to firestation to see us with Molly, words cannot describe the feeling to see her how she was and then this day, the father grabbed me and thanked me for allowing him to give her a kiss before she went off for more surgery and told me I was brave for standing up to the surgeons for him. BRAVE. I not the brave one there, he was so strong throughout the whole thing supporting and being strong for his wife and reassuring her all the time as she was destraut looking on helpless. We see alot of bad stuff in our job and people big it up, thats not my Brag, nor is it that I rescued airborne commrades from a minefield in Bosnia, my Brag is that I helped in a small way to save a beautiful young girls life and had the pleasure to meet the bravest man I have ever met, Her Dad

    Hi sarah

My biggest win was a real funny one. It was on one of the bigger sites about a year ago and at that time I never had played much PLO. I logged on and started buying into some of the tournaments, there weren't many running and i saw PLO tournament with a big guarantee and  I had to take a stab. After playing for 3hrs I had been knocked out of the other games but surprising I was still in this PLO tournament. So I googled "how to play pot limit omaha" and carried on playing while reading lots tutorials and watching a few PLO videos, 8-10hrs later I finished 4th for 29k usd(after a deal). Haven’t stopped playing PLO ever since.

Hi guys, really good show as always already had a post on so this is probably the only time i'll double up tonight :),

My biggest win is probably one of my most embarrasing moments to, me and my family had gone to a "fun day" event local to us when i was around 12-14years old, at this fun day they had a gladiator style event with the raised platforms and u try to knock people off. me and my sister decided to give it ago and i beat her 10-1, it was embarrasing because the local newspapers were there that day and ofcourse managed to take a picture as my sister scored her 1 and only point, she still has the newspaper and rubs it in my face all the time. but ultimately i was the victor!!

Great show guys! Sarah you are looking amazing as usual!!!

My biggest win was on a TV show called The Chair. Great experience but it was tinged with real good fortune for me. It was filmed at Pinewood studios where they were filming Die Another Day.

The show involved answering questions whilst attached to a heart monitor while sat in a giant chair - a bit like Millionnaire but if your heart goes above a certain rate, your money disappears until your heart rate comes down. The heart rate rises when you know an answer but again you cannot answer until it drops again. The show was hosted by John McEnroe who insulted the contestants.

I was scheduled to be the third contestant filmed that day but when it was my turn the pads to attach me to the heart monitor kept falling off so another contestant took my place. While I was being re-attached I saw their questions and would have lost on the third question. When I got up there, I got every question correct and my heart rate stayed below the limit & I picked up a cool £50k, the jackpot.

I have to say that luck played a massive part in that win.

As far as poker is concerned my biggest win was in the English Open Deepstack in Birmingham last year. I won a seat into the tournament via the local poker club in Shrewsbury where the six monthly winner won a seat into this £500 buy in event. I had never played any event of this size before but with a 50k stack and one hour clock I had several hours to get my bearings as I just folded. I saw Julian Thew come & go before I played a hand. By the end of the day I had 70k chips against an average of 100k. I got moved to the televised table halfway through day two which had Paul Jackson on it. Suddenly players were shoving against me when I had the nuts and before I knew it was leading with 3.2million chips.

I made the final table and ended up finishing 4th when I shoved A8 into AA but the £10k prize was a great consolation.
