There are defo players who are playing big volumes in lower level who do not appear. Is it a tactic maybe to go under radar and enter code code on 20th of month? I usually get between 2500 and 3000 playing 10nl and a little bit of 20nl, but not sure it is worth me uppping my volume (I am 30th after 2 "normal" nights of playing) if these guys are going to be added at a later date. I am trying to workout what benifit you would get from this tactic. Any idea?
IMO they're never gonna put the points next to each player because
A) it's the player's personal business as to whether they want to divulge that or not
and
It will discourage alot of people from trying to catch up if they see they're miles behind.
For instance, I'm 77th and only got 57 points, if I saw the people in the top 20 all had around 200-250, then sure I'd grind hard to try to get in there, but what's much more likely is they are all on 700+ and I'll just go 'forget that, there's no chance of me catching them'.

would be v helpful to know how many points the leaders have, it will encourage people to play more hence more rake for sky sort it! Posted by kcxyz
The points per player will not be published.
Two reasons predominantly......
a) It would or could be misleading, as players do not have to, or may not, opt-in until later in the month, & if points per player were published prior to that, it would then prove to be seriously misleading. Note that even if a player chooses not to opt-in until, say, 20th October, ALL HIS OR HER OCTOBER POINTS will still count.
b) I'm not entirely sure that the Business has the right to publish individual player performances, as the D-P regulations are onerous & complex.

this tactic benefits no one really, propably a disadvantage to yourself as you think you hitting it really hard opt in and expect to be like top 5 and find out your 20th be a massive blow to your confidence and propably make ya less determined.
If i thought id been smashing it and found out im only 15th id be really anoyed
Put a decent session in last night playing 12 tables for 2 hours and only moved up 3 places going to be hard/almost impossible for me to get top 20 I think... Never mind I'll use it as a stepping stone for good C4P this month.
In Response to Re: The King of Cash - Top 100 Thread : I don't know, Mr Bear. I'll ask in the morning though. Looks like "no" at present, or presumably they would have included them today. There are, of course, pros & cons to doing so. Posted by Tikay10

Hi guys
Just to be clear, remember the tiers are based on the small blind.
So for example, take 'NL20' (which is normally 10p/20p) - that is in Low.
However, take an action table of 20p/20p this is in the middle tier.
Thanks
Sky Poker
For clarification.....
30p - 30p "Action Tables" are included within the Middle Tier, & my earlier Post has been edited accordingly to reflect this.
Apologies for the earlier notquiteasclearasitreallyshouldhavebeenness.
The "Kings of Cash" Promotions Page has also been amended to clarify the position........
Lower - includes regular tables 0.02/0.04 up to 0.10/0.20 & Action tables 0.05/0.05 and 0.10/0.10
Middle - includes regular tables 0.15/0.30 up to 0.25/0.50 & Action tables 0.20/0.20 and 0.30/0.30
Upper - includes regular tables 0.50/1.00+ & Action tables 0.50/0.50+
