WHAT ARE YOUR POKER GOALS FOR 2013

be good to know what peoples goals are for 2013 

i have decided to try and play to save up to take the family to disney for christmas next year 

i do ok from live poker and need to improve alot with online poker but thought it would be nice to give it a bash 


so whats your poker goals and are youy saving for anything special ?

    Well my main short (ish) term goal is to work through the cash levels and build up a big enough BR so I'm comfortably rolled to play 50NL so about £2,500.

    I think I'll be playing 20NL a couple of months into 2013, then just see where I go from there.

    reach supernova on another site, move up to at least 50nl, hopefully 100nl, and final table the stupid big $11 for $12k. #onetimeplsgod

    Here were mine for this year:

    Get to 10 Hendon Mob flags
    Take down a 30k plus score online
    Take down a 30k plus score live
    Play most GUKPTS/UKIPTS/Gentings/DTD/SPTs
    Grind 24k points on Sky on a consistant basis
    Spend 2 months in the US playing poker

    I am at 9 Hendon Mob flags
    Think my biggest tournie score online was around 8k
    Biggest score live was 22k$
    Played tonnes of live poker in the UK this year to limited success, highlight being FT of the SPT Grand Final
    Put in some big months C4Ps wise highest being 60k.  Most months I have hit 20k.
    Spent 5 weeks in the US during WSOP with another 2 weeks in November

    Yea Florida mate and pass includes the 4 parks on 1 day epcot, magic kingdom, animal kingdom and Hollywood studios but doesnt include the 2 water parks. Yea basically all the employees get 8 passes each year for 3 people on 1 day for family and friends which arnt supposed to be sold but most of them sell them to tourists for cheaper than what they would originally pay if they bought the tickets through disney.  

    When i worked there a 1 day hopper pass was $80 a day for 1 person when employees would be selling the tickets for $100 for 3 people.  So the tourists were saving $140 getting it this way.

    Concentrate fully on mtts on here and a couple of other sites
    Do loads of hand history reviews with my coaches to get better
    Spend 2 weeks traveling to see some friends in Orlando and New York and 4 and a half weeks playing poker in las Vegas.
    Go to SPT Newcastle and Dublin in 2013
    Play a 350 euro superpokerevent in Dublin 300,000 gtd in Feburary

    want to improve my mtt game
    want to play in a ukipt
    go back to vegas and play more poker rather than partying lol
    go to an spt
    get a 4 four figure bink not had one in over a year
    and in general just keep improving as a player

    Average at least 35hours per week.
    Play some live poker, cash (I keep hearing how juicy live games are!) and MTT's.
    Play more main events on SKY.
    Make at least 12k from C4P
    Improve my MTT game (mainly eradicating fancy play syndrome when there's no need!)
    Play some SPT's

    Wow, cheers for that old thread Ryan! 

    My goal was simply to cash in an SPT. Achieved that in Cardiff 3rd for about 1900 beans,

    Also i said get back to basics and then things i want will follow... well I won a lot of mtts on sky including 2 mains, so it's been a good year.

    2013 is all about nailing BRM and Discipline. I want to turn that £11 into a really decent 4 figure sum without depositing again.

    To try and reinforce my belief that I aint gonna win every time and when I get sucked out on,its not some great conspiracy to rob me of my (miniscule) br.Also to actually get deep in some sort of tourney and deffo get to spt Dublin to meet some of you.

    Thought I'd put some more specific goals down...

    1) Final table an SPT (Could do that in Luton before 2013 even starts)
    2) Be rolled for and holding my own at 50NL.
    3) Play more live poker
    4) Finally give live cash a spin (probably do this at Luton if the games are good)
    5) Cash in an MTT for £500+

    HI CKD

    Good post m8. Nice to see aims and goals of others. I'm 18 months playing so mine are a bit less spectacular.

    Play in a SPT and meet the guys from THS and people i know in the forum.
    Whilst there meet Tikay, Anna, Rich, and the guys and thank them for getting me interested in the first place.
    Be given the chance to answer thse Q's for tv...i've got some crackers.
    Improve my game by possibly getting coaching or through an approved site such as deuces cracked
    Play more live poker.
    Learn to play Omaha.
    BIGGEST.....Continue to enjoy the game.

    1.  Win a MTT  (with over 100 runners)
    2.  Win a Razz, Badugi, or 2-7 tourney. 
    3.  Play at an SPT (Dublin has been pencilled in)
    4.  Learn a bit more about the "maths" side of poker.
    5.  Master more than 3 x tables. :-(
    6.  oh and start a diary in GPC.  (Only kidding!)

    had a really good year cashed in sidey at spt blackpool which got me free entry in to the main event on the thursday night finished 3rd for nearly 8 and half hundred quid and also have won the mini ds on a wednesday night too plus a few other cashes too so yeah MADE UP

    1.To win a SPT (only played 2 thus far but both good attempts)
    2. To come back from vegas with more then i went with inc gambling and fun monies
    3. Win over £1000 in an MTT, 5 times have won 900 on here :(
    4. To be grinding cash properly online anytime next year

    My only goals are to enjoy my poker and not to get so short stacked that when i go all in, i don't get called by the deepstack with 7 3 off suit lol oh yeah and to be less bitter lmao
