Following on from a suggestion from IDONKCALLU, here's a fun little competition we're going to run on the forum - the Football Cup of Poker.

The first round draw has been made and all games should be played by 9am on Monday 14th January. See below for the draw. Feel free to PM your opponent to arrange the buy-in and times, and please post your results on this thread. If you put the winning team in BOLD that would help me a lot

Prizes:

1st - £33 Tournament Seat

2nd - £22 Tournament Seat

3rd & 4th - £11 Tournament Seat

PLUS: Every runner will be invited into a special Football Cup of Poker MTT at the end of the tournament. More details to follow, but the tourney will be a £3.30 buy-in event with a twist

Rules:

** Heads-up sit and gos, players to agree the stakes between themselves.

** 64 players in total, draws to be made at random by me.

** Home team needs to win two games, Away team needs to win three.

** Winner should come onto this thread to report their result.

** All draws will mention a date that the fixtures need to played by. We'll give a window of around 1 week per round.

**I'll sort some prizes out for the winners, runners up and the two losing semi-finalists, too. Details of those will be mentioned in this post once I get confirmation.

** I'll also organise a little tournament for everyone who takes part in this, too. Note: it won't be a freeroll and will have a small buy-in, but has a fun twist.
